Yeah, I reckon we'll see lightly camo'd mules by then.

If you're getting a GT, just look at a '12 GT500, squint a bit and that's pretty much what you'll get

For those that have not heard the latest 2013 rumors:

Just got back from intro show. Got to ride in a boss 302 with Paul Brown on Fords test track. It was insane, more fun than my ride with vaughn gittin jr! Had all four off the ground a couple times and two wheels several times!

Okay, I don't have any pictures! They were very tight on that this year and only brought them on stage during the business meeting, but I have lots of info to confirm and whatnot.

2013 Mustang is GORGEOUS! I saw a black v6, a silver gt, and a School bus yellow laguna seca! No GT500 they wouldn't show us anymore than a few partial pictures, LA auto show. Jim Farley promised it will "annillate the competition (cough zl1 cough)".
-2013 GT500 WILL DEFINITELY BE A 5.8, confirmed by Jim Farley
-all models seem to have gt500 esque styling. hids across the board, all new from the doors forward, also a new tail panel with outlined blacked out taillights, WAY BETTER than current.
-also Track Apps, 1/4 mile, 1/8 mile, 0-60, 0-100, trans temp, etc in the LCD screen.

2013 Escape + Fusion
-both are gorgeous and way better than current. Fusion looks a lot like the evos. I wish i had pix for you guys but I don't. It is going to blow Honda and Toyota away.

Flex is freshened, ST Fiesta + Focus soon as everyone knows, and more but we don't know which.

Engines-
1.0 ecoboost in fiesta + focus
1.6l ecoboost in fusion, escape
2.0 ecoboost as top of line in fusion and escape (and edge + expl and Focus ST)

Gas mileage is up 3-8 mpg across the board

CMAX will be a plug in hybrid (PHEV) or a full electric vehicle. Very good looking in production form. No straight gasser!

The biggest deal for the show was the new escape and fusion. I could ramble on about how great they are but you will see soon enough im sure.

By the way all this is confirmed to us by Ford in past two days!

HIDs across the board... YUCK! It makes the car look cross eyed! I prefer the set back round headlights!

It's getting a front end refresh. Who's to say the HID projectors won't be located in a more outboard position than the '10-'12 models?

Lets just hope so. I wish they would just put HID bulbs in the original headlight bucket.

+1 just like the HID's for the 2005-2009. If Ford had took the standard halogen lamp bucket for the 2010+ and stuffed it with an HID, then that would have been such an appealing option for me. Such a shame the didn't do it that way again.

Pretty much so indeed, i'll probably be trading in my 2009 escape when this new Vertreck or Escape comes out. I personnaly think they should stick with the name " Escape" for the little SUV.

I agree. Name recognition goes a long way (positive and negative), its something you can't buy, it has to be earned and built over time. Just like Taurus going to Five Hundred, and the first thing Mulally did when he came on board was tell them to change it back.

I don't think we have anything to worry about! Ford is smart enough now to not abandon a consistently best selling nameplate...

GT will have round fogs in grille as opposed to the chopped off tops on the 10-12

I thought that was evident in the red/camo mule we saw months ago?

FYI, those patent drawings are not the production form of the Escape.

I like that ... The fog lights never really looked right to me before
