'13-14 Cluster into '10-12 car (with TrackApps) retrofit
dmhines,
Do you have a part number handy for the 2013 cluster? I'm at work, but am in contact with United Radio. They will change the odometer reading, and will look into a couple other issues, but they want a part number.

Part number:
DR3Z 10849 EA
Engineering number:
DR33 10849 EA
I'll be talking to their tech guy when he's off lunch.
They will change the odometer reading. You send in the cluster with proper documentation (Don't know what that is yet) and they charge $85.

One of these is for a Boss, another is for a Canadian cluster.

We are pulling the ICM out of a salvage vehicle so the value in the cluster will already be 016A.
Here is my tech guy responding:
Hi:
Best plan would be to book an appointment with one of the ladies in the cash office to ensure that I can get it in the shop ASAP. Tell them that I’ll probably need a couple of hours with it. You might want to just leave the old cluster plugged in but not fully installed just in case we run into problems. We will also require 2 keys to make it start, so bring them as well. If you have only one key, we will have to cut another (minimum of 2 keys). If your car has a remote starter we will need the transmitter to program it to the system. We have a menu price for electronic diagnosis ($155.95) that would cover the time to do the reset and programming of the keys. As I mentioned to you on Monday, I can’t vouch for whether all of the data will be available for the extra functions of the new cluster. We might end up having to reflash the PCM or other modules to make them match the cluster (make everything think it lives in a 2013 Mustang). If this is the case, some additional charges may apply. Please also bring the VIN for the car the cluster came from in case we have to obtain as-built data for anything. After you make an appointment, please drop me a quick note to let me know when it is coming so that I can try to free up some time.

PCM & BCE, PCM so it will put the correct gauge traffic on the HSCAN and the BCE so the ICM can be initialized.
