I have an SCT. What would I tell BAMA? I need a 2012 Tune for a 2013 WYN3 PCM? Lets say I found a 2013 WNY3 in a salvage yard. Can dealer put my VIN in it or would a used PCM never match the correct VIN?

I looked up PCM prices ... the WYN3 price is significantly more than the KWC2 .. wonder if thats because WYN3 has the Track Apps components in it?

Tell BAMA, that you want 2012 Value files, and timing tables loaded into a 2013 Cal Tune.

If you go to the info part of your Nav, does the correct vin still show? (as of now?)

WYN3 looks like its for Automatic. KWC2 appears to be for Manual.

I also quite like the look at night.

This is as far as I am going to go with this for now. I'm content with what I have. At some point I'll worry about the cruise.

I don't use cruise very often but since I left my 2012 buttons in Cruise works fine for me .. just no indicator on the cluster.

I'm in no rush but will keep my eye out for a KWC2 PCM. I have found several PCM's for sale but they are all 3.7L PCM's.

I never noticed this in the old cluster, but in the new cluster, the cruise light turns on orange when you turn on cruise, and then turns green when cruise is engaged.

I think ours just turns on 1 colour. That may be why we don't get the cruise light coming on at all? 2 new signals that the cluster needs to receive?

I haven't been looking that hard for one.

Does your oil life indicator work? Mine's been showing 53% for some time now - not changing.

Confirmed. The 2012 PCM is only sending a signal for on off. 2013 cluster is expecting to receive a signal for on/off and engaged/not engaged.

As for the LCD gauges, cylinder head temp is optional equipment, apparently. Transmission temp is only for auto tranny.

Jim is your reverse sensing working? Not sure if it needed to be enabled in cluster or not and wasn't sure your cluster came out of a car with reverse sensors. If you saw my other thread I was able to add the sensors to my car since the tech updated all my AS BUILT with a Rear sensor car and the feature enabled.

I already had sensors, and they still work. I guess my cluster came out of a car that had it already?

I just bought a spoiler with the rear camera, and I'll be adding that when I get the spoiler painted. My Nav already has the rear cam enabled.

Your tech input new as built data, huh? My guy said he couldn't do that. But your guy couldn't do anything with the PCM?

If I come across a PCM, I'll nab it, but I would rather wait and see if zeroaviation can get this all to work.

I didn't ask my guy about messing with PCM but he had no problem loading the AS BUILT. He let me watch too. He input it all manually. Here he is typing it in from the printout I gave him.
