Probably Monday when I'm back from vacation and can pick it up at the post office.

Got my Cluster. My SCT tune did NOT turn of PATS even though the option was checked. Perhaps doesn't work in Mustangs??

I started car with 2012 Cluster and swapped in 2013 Cluster while running and drove to work today.

The 2012 setup buttons do act like up/down/right arrows .. and if I press up/down together it makes a left arrow. There is no OK button.

Apparantly the 2012 CANBUS only has OBD data for the guages on the 2012 cluster. So things like Head Temp, Air/Fuel Ratio, etc .. don't work. Voltage works .. thats about it.

I couldn't try the settings to see if they worked since you need OK button to check off selection boxes but I could get to all the screens.

All the lights work except Cruise Control ... Cruise was working but there was no indicator lit up on the Cluster.

I saw no Track Apps menu anywhere ... Maybe I'm looking in wrong place? But I saw nothing.

Overall not looking too promising without installing a 2013 PCM ... Sad ....

Maybe the 2011 and 2012 don't have the correct sensors installed to run the track apps. Or the dealer has to upload them when they update the cluster. Can't imagine ford changing everything for a cluster.

Sensors are all there .. they are all easily readable from the OBD port with an SCT programmer. I am guessing the problem is that the 2012 PCM isn't putting that data on the CANBUS like the 2013 PCM does. I am deliberating whether to have the 2012 AS BUILT data uploaded to the 2013 cluster - that may fix the readings .. or completely render the LCD display inoperative. I ordered the Steering wheel buttons so I need to see if they work before I decide whether I'll keep the cluster or sell it.

Don't know if loading the 2012 build data would fix it. Seems like that would just turn off the screen since the 2012 didn't have it.

I'm not convinced the LCD display has anything to do with the cluster.

I'll probably end up selling to a 2013 Base Mustang owner ... I would think its plug and play in a 2013+ ..

I did order the STeering control button the other day from Rock Auto for $18. It was delivered today so I'll try to wire it up tonight and see what happens.

I have a feeling the Cruise control is not gonna work since the button layout is different.

If you check the schematics, al the wires used previously are used again for the new button when it comes to the cruise control. It should work.

Check my attachments in a previous post.

Jim. I ran the two wires from switch panel to pin 3 and 11 on clockspring. Problem is pin 6 and 12 are empty on steering wheel harness. Pin 2 on switch connector already has wire going to I think pin 8 on clockspring steering wheel connector . I think a new steering wheel harness may be needed. Do you have schematics of steering wheel harness side of clockspring? Part # for 2013 steering wheel harness?

FYI .. found a used 2013 steering wheel for sale and I bought it ... Pics of the the harness in 2013 steering wheel showed 2 additional wires going to clock spring (Red at Pin 6 and Blue at Pin 12) and to the 4-way switch. These wires are definitely not in my 2012 wheel. This is my last try at this ... I fairly confident 4-way controls will work .. not sure about OK button and not sure about cruise control.

Also .. even if Track Apps doesn't work ... the LCD display is still a pretty neat addition. All the other functions worked .. door ajar trunk ajar .. Mustang logo at boot and while running, advantrack on and off, odometer has neat flip effect etc. If I can get the 4-way switch to work and control settings like steering wheel feel and ambient light .. I will keep it and just not have the Track App stuff.

You will have to add the pins in those 2 spots. You are probably like me and have loads of pigtails laying around. Just pull a couple of usedpins from those. You will be tapping into the wires off your cluzter and sending them to the new pins you will insert.

Ok, here's what you have to do:

Coming off of the cluster you have 2 wires you will tap into. Green/purple comkng out of pin 6 and a white/brown wire coming off pin 4. 6 from the cluster goes to pin 3 on the clockspring connector 2274a. Pin 4 from the cluster goes to pin 11 on the clockspring 2274a.

Then on the other side of the clockspring on connector 2274b, pin 12 will go to pin 3 on the switch. Pin 6 on the clockspring goes to pin 2 on the switch.

Also, the ground wire should come out of pin 6 on the switch and goes to pin 4 on the clockspring 2274b. It comes out the other side from pin 5 on 2274a and goes to a ground.

Cruise control is wired the same and should not be affected.

I'm missing some 2013 sheets. I need section 30-2.

I'll have to get back to you tomorrow.

Pin 2 and 3 are now for the direction and ok buttons. Change it from 8 to 6.

Might be easier to just get the harness as you said. I'll get the part number tomorrow as well. Is just a short length from the clockspring to the switch, right?

Looks like I lied. The cruise control wires need to be switched around a bit. They are not in the same pins. I'll get the right info when I get my missing pages tomorrow.

Yes. Pin 2 already has a wire in it.

I'm also curious if wires need to be moved on the car harness side of the clockspring since the steering wheel side is different.
