Well mine is having some minor glass repairs done (pic's soon Rob)then it will be primed in flat black and I'll wait until late spring or early summer to paint it so any imperfections should be easily seen by then.

The quality of the glass work is good but it will require several coats of high build primer and block sanding to get that perfect hood finish due to the waves in the glass work which is typical for any fiber glass hood. We figured about 12 hours of prep time (priming and block sanding) to get it perfect and ready for paint.

Truefiber has a great quality product and no one should fear the work involved in getting a perfect finish on their hood this is just typical for any FRP hood unless its Carbon Fiber.

I can't wait to get the replacement. I'm going to go ahead and mount it and get it in the sun and drive around with it on before prep and paint so it can get "broken in" so to speak.

Almost did that. My travel agent had me flying through Dubai but EA sold out of business class so they moved me to United/KLM via europe. I'll wave as we fly by!
