TRUFIBER HOODS for Those with GT500 front Fascia!

Looks great. Im thinking of the Superstripe as well. Did you cut out the mesh in front of the ram air? Quick point, take your upper grill off and paint the rad support and misc. parts in front of the radiator black so it just blends in to the grill. Too much white is poking out. Talking from experience because it looked even worse with the yellow.

But, uh, not be be a jerk or anything, aren't the Cobra fender emblems supposed to face forward? Or is that your way of saying it isn't a real GT500?

I didn't even look at that stuff yet, what with being overwhelmed and excited about all the rest of the stuff going on.

At Fantasy of Flight's Mustangs and Mustangs last weekend I got to see both the Venom and the Super Snake hoods up close and personal. Both were on real GT500s. I wasn't keen on the metal louvers on the SS and hands down the TruFiber hood looked a lot better.

If i didn't mention it earlier Andy your car looks great with the SS hood.
Any chance of a picture looking strait into the nostrils? I'd like to know how deep the openings are and how it looks without the mesh being in there to hide any raw glass work.

I get it back from the body shop Monday, so I"ll try and do some pics sometime next week thanks for the nice comments... now it's E85 conversion time...that'll make most in these forums cringe

I don't know about making us cringe, but I hope you're prepared to pay a lot more in fuel cost. 85% ethanol gets horrible gas mileage. Ethanol doesn't cost any less either. Good luck.

I have a performance tune with a DaibloSport Predator and will use and estimated 15-20% more fuel (not 30-40%) this is not pure methanol and this is coming from TAFC engine builder with 10 years experience with methanol). So it works out around the same, with more HP, less heat and less emissions (please nobody go into the food argument). And with the daiblo I can switch back to gas whenever I need to if so be.
