Hey Eddie.....those are vinyl right?
Are you going to put one down the side?

Nope! I decided against it. I really didn't want one that said "GT 300," and I was surprisingly not interested in the pony symbol, either. So I just thought it'd look best to not worry about the rocker stripe.

Does somebody in here think they could do me a little chop? I saw someone do a silver mustang with a black center stripe and 2 thin red stripes on the outside on that Mustang Stripe painter thing. Could somebody do a white mustang with a blue center stripe and 2 black stripes and a fire red stang with a black center stripe and two white stripes. Thank you.

The advantage would be it would be different. Haven't seen any like that. The disadvantage would be not much of a contrast. They would be less noticeable. If it were me, I'd go with a dark silver.

I really don't want much of a contrast with the stripes...although dark silver might look really good....have to see it before shucking out that much change and might not like it.

I'm lookin into gettin a roush but i don't care for their stripe package. I saw some interesting color combinations on this thread and decided id try to do a couple really pathetic chops in Paint on some roush pics i found. Give me some feedback and tell me what you think of these color schemes. And mind you, these are the first chops ive ever attempted and they pretty much look like junk.

Kevin... I love the painted stripes and black bullitts. How much were the stripes, and how much were the wheels? And check your measurement between stripes. That definitely looks like 2" to me. I have 1.5" between mine and yours is bigger.

You are right... I just printed out a pic and went out to my car. It's 3" between 10" stripes.

Opps my bust, 10 / 2.5ish. I didn't give them exact measurements for the stripes... I said make it look good. I assumed the standard stripes were only 1.5 gap... still looks good to me w/ 2.5

Ian,

They charged me 1600 for the stripes and 480 for all four wheels, painted the stock wheels black plus the mounting and re-balancing (the weights off the outside of the wheel now too). I couldn't figure out what I wanted to do about new wheels, so I figured I would paint the stock ones and when the rubber is gone, then I'll revisit my idea of new wheels. I like the black bullits, so maybe I'll just move into an 18" after the rubber is gone.

However, the place where I got the work done just put these on a MG... if it had the polished lip, I might like them. They are black chrome and found at http://www.capellausa.com/

I like those too. But, I personally like your bullitts painted black with the chrome lip. Very nice. I'd keep them on there permenantly.
