If I had gotten white, that's exactly what I would have done to it. Your baby looks great, Robyn. Can't wait to see it with the MRT louvers and ducktail. Are you going with the Street Scene or the CDC ducktail, by the way? I am ordering the Street Scene ducktail because I don't like the idea of an LED light on my car. We have similar taste though, Robyn. I'm getting the MRT louvers as well. Of course, that's if they ever come out with them.

This is a repost of my car but on a sunny day with shows the contrast of color better. Stripes professionally installed and are 12 inches wide with a 2 inch gap. I also have the rocker panel done with fader stripes and mustang GT logo.

Steve, I'm not much of a window decal kinda guy, but I actually like that big Mustang. Is it white or did you get it silver to match your car? And do you have a side shot showing the rocker stripe better? The back looks great, but you definitely need to get the front bumper striped all the way down. Especially since the rear bumper is striped. It makes the front look unfinished.

Decal would not be legal in VA. A little in your face though.

Ian,

I havn't been online all weekend!

Likewise... it's funny because your car is exactly what I was originally going to buy and put the black stripes on. So we must have the same taste! I don't know why I changed my mind. I saw a post with a bunch of colors lined up next to each other and the white really stood out. You can see the grill real good. When I went to the dealer to order, he had a white in the order bank that wasn't sold yet so I took it! I liked the red leather too.

I'm going to wait on the Ducktail to see if maybe we can order the Cobra one. I think I already posted but I ordered the Xenon Spoiler and sent it back. Does not fit, at least this one didn't fit my car! I can't wait for the MRT louvers. Hopefully this week :bang:

I just got the Steeda Billit Pedals and floormats but haven't put them on yet. I have the car scheduled next wens for Engine start button (Honda one), sequential turns and Bluetooth cell kit. There is a car electronics place right up the street, I could do it but don't feel like taking the dash apart. The weather has been rainy and cold here.

How long before we can Zaino out stripes? I think the paint guy told me 14 days? Mine has been painted almost that now.

Robyn, my paint guy told me two weeks as well (at least) before waxing the stripes.

You have some pretty neat mods coming up for your car.

robynspony, where are you going to have the engine start button installed? I installed the start button on my last vehicle and everyone loved it! I have thought about putting one on my 05 GT and if I do, I will install it where the power outlet is, just above the radio. Just make sure the installer is carefull when doing the wiring. I was told when I did mine on my last vehicle, that I could have both the key and or the start button work together. That was Not the case. When I first installed it, I used the button, no problems! Then I tried the key start, and blew the circuit board on the start button! So, I got another button and had to cut the wires from the key cylinder and run them only to the button. Then, to start the car, you turn the key all the way to the forward postion, let go of the key and hit the button. Worked great! Even lights-up with the headlights, but it's a nice low level red 'START ENGINE' This was the same button from the Honda S2000.

Dave...

I thought it was legal if you had a side mirror on both sides. I used to live in VA and had stickers on the top and bottom of my back windshield. The inspector said if I had stickers on my back window, I needed side mirors on both sides. Of course, that was in the early 1990's, it might have changed since then.

Painted black stripes. 12" 1/34" gap.
Black has a cherry pearl for those sunny days
to match the red interior.

Thanks Carol, Light grey would be nice too. These actually came out a little darker than I thought they would but I love them! I wonder how the Satian silver would looK? If you have them painted, have them do a sample first and remember on the white they will look darker once it's done. You could always try vinyl first to see if you like it then get them painted later.

Love the pics all. Am thinking about getting Black on my Legend Lime, getting the Black Bullit wheels. Trying to find someone who will do the stripes the way I want is going to be tough though. I'd try to do it myself, but i fear that it would LOOK like i had done it myself having never done it before. May have to wait till I move to Vegas. I'm sure I can find someone out there. Alternatively I may consider getting painted stripes. Seems any reasonable paint shop could do that.

Those black stripes look great, legend05. And that was brilliant to get a cherry pearl/candy on there to match with the red interior. Nice job.

On a bit of a side note, I just got back from being out of town for a week, and my StreetScene ducktail was here. After a quick test fit, I dropped it off at my painter this morning. He's real busy, so it might not be until the middle of next week but I will have a painted/striped ducktail on my car by the end of next week. I will post pics here.

Thinking 'bout it for my Torch Red Vert... Black top...
Anyone seen a Red Vert - Striped?
Anyone seen side stripes along the fender - door - "scoop" line?
