I know it seems like everyone is doing the stripes, but honestly, how many stripe jobs have you seen in your town? Its a pretty popular mod here on these forums but I wouldn't be surprised if you are the only one in your town with stripes when its all said and done.

Stangnut,
Thanks for all the links!

Most people are doing lemans stripes.
It would be nice to see more BOSS style stripes or 1968 C-stripes.

Not a whole lot of Boss stripes out yet except for Photoshops.
I saw one Photoshop of a C stripe and it looked really bad. Might try a search for it. It wasn't that long ago.

Very true. I've had my GT since early Nov. and I still haven't seen another one. Plenty of V6's though. But I put them in another category. No offense at all. I actually really like the front end (grill portion) of the V6.

Anthony, welcome to the forums. Car looks great. Are those AR Torq thrust II's? I am still waiting for my new set to arrive, I didn't like the backspacing on the first set. What backspacing did you go with?

Guys the stripes are 10 inches wide, and a 1 inch space are between them. as far as the reference or line I went with, I am not sure, :bang: I had this stripe put on here in my home town, at a business called Custom Daves, , they put the stripes on and tinted the windows at the same time, thanks for the compliment, I will try to find out about how they referrenced the stripes, and get back to you, as soon as they say, though , Anthony

Hmmm...I didn't see any Redfire's with stripes, but I remember this one spotted at a dealership a while back:

Looks like silver or light grey vinyl 8 or 10" with a 4" gap?

How much are people paying for painted strips? Here's a pic from a place in CA that quoted me $900. Is that good or should I be looking to pay more for a better job?

Im not sure what others are paying, I purchased the gold stripes, for a 50 yard roll, for 72.50. the company here put them on for 250.00 but said the new mustang is a little bit harder, so next time it will be 325.00 still total less than 425.00 not bad if you ask me, heck the stripe kit along through fors is i believe 250 or more, so cant go wrong, let me know if you get anything any better in price,
