Is there a wait on Mineral Grey louvers? I'm not in a hurry to buy yet.

Most of the orders are still quoting 2-3 weeks on prepainted, but we are starting to come out of it (a little bit) on having them in stock for quicker delivery. I know we are out of G9 again, but more are being done, as well as G2. UA is the one that continues to go as fast as we get them painted, but even they may get caught up eventually

Any plans to create another version that would be scoops instead of louvers? Similar to this picture from Midwest Auto Gear's website...

That is the 05 show car pictured, and to answer the question, no - there are no plans for that at this time. The cost involved in bringing products like this to market at this level of detail require us to pretty much pick one design and stick with it. If we were molding in RIM (urethane) or chop glass, it would be much easier to do, but in Lexan, it's a major investment to tool up even one set.

If we ever get a body company that can produce products to our specs, I might be willing to revisit this.

If I was a Ford dealer and was having a tough time moving certain Mustangs off my lot, I would consider buying a bunch of these to make these slow movers more unique/appealing

Great Idea - Hey SHR have you talked to ford on offering these through ford accessories? I know the CDC louvers are there too.

I told my dealer about them when I bought my new Mustang the other day. I'm going to send him a link to the site. They just started dressing up Mustangs and have found out how successful that can be. Though, I'm a bit apprehensive about giving them the link, 'cuz then when I get mine done, it won't be the only one around here.

I'm afraid I know the answere to this but, can this be fixed?
I had to take them off the car to fix a leak and in the process cracked a piece.
God I'm heartbroken.

****, that sucks. Your best bet would probably be to find a bodyshop that's good w/ plastics repair. They could basically 'glue' it back together, then you'd need them to do a skim layer of plastic filler over the outside prior to paint. I'd check w/ SHR and see if they'd have one they could sell by itself. That would probably be about what a bodyshop would charge to fix that. Either way you'll be repainting.

Wow... I can park a truck on it, hit it with a ball peen hammer, and not hurt it, I'm just trying to figure out how in the world you managed this.

Email me directly or give me a call and we'll talk about what can be done about getting this squared away for you.
