Today I put together the new China Freight engine hoist I snagged for $99.99 a couple weeks ago.
Its first job is to bring home a '60s Ford 390 V8 we're buying from a friend for the '69
I screwed up and poked a hole in the rubber plug for the hydraulic fluid, so I'll have to replace that and top off the fluid before I can use it, but at least it's put together and it's no longer just 2 large heavy boxes leaning against various things in the garage

New Year's Eve was the first time I drove mine on the highway in accumulating snow. It was clear when I left for the party, then it started snowing while I was there, and I came home in falling snow with about half an inch of powder on the roads. Snow tires seemed fine with it and the traction control never blinked. Seems to work fine in winter conditions as long as I don't ask it to do anything stupid.

Well, I didn't do anything "with" my Mustang today, but I did make some more room around it, by building a tire rack in the basement, which allowed me to move the 20's from the garage to the rack, and also the fiancee's stock wheels now have a place out of the garage, on the rack as well.
Also built a heavy duty top shelf for all kinds of heavy stuff, which I quickly filled:

Lol yeah that's the wood cribbing pieces that I use sometimes when I lift the cars to work under them.
If I don't have to take the wheels off, I set the tires down on those pieces, and I use as many as I need for the job. Sometimes I need to lift the car higher than others ...

Got the fiancee's Shelby out of the garage for a bit, needed the garage for her son's Mach 1 to get new trans fluid and spark plugs in it while he's home on a short leave.
Had to put the Mach on the battery tender while in there since we had to jump start it ... apparently it's running on an original 2004 battery !!!!!!
And apparently it's not enjoying the single-digit temps we've been "enjoying" for the last 2 nights ...... frozen Mach 1:

And yeah, I saw, you're getting a whole new palace built, that's awesome! Congrats!
Now I got the bug for building more stuff.
Since the tire rack I built 3 shelf units for the basement, one next to the tire rack and 2 more on the opposite wall.
I'm getting that place really organized!
.................................................. .................................................. ................... I built that ^^ cat tree too
(just need to carpet it)
And my latest creation is a rolling cart:

I didn't know you had wood working skills Gabe. That's hardcore. Even though I hate cats, those you built are cool. Next you need to paint or stain
