1.3028 dollars per euro bob.
Man thats one expensive set of springs!
I think that I will stick with the 2-3 hundred dollar sets available.
What do you guys think of the louvers for the back window that are available for the 2005-2007 mustang?

Make sure if you do go with the louvers that you can easily clean the rear window, especially on a daily driver........
To me the rear window louvers should be an all or nothing deal, by all I mean a total retro look of a Mach 1 or a Boss.

Lets see what everyone is planning for their stangs, must be items that you will do in the next two years and must be items that are not just far away dreams. Two categories, engine and chassis...I'll start :
Engine :
CAI, Tuner and Tunes
Cams
Ported and polished heads
Under drive pulleys
Throttle body
Long tube headers
Mid pipes
Super charger ( Saleen )
Chassis :
Lower control arms
Upper control arms
Panhard rod
New gears
New rotors
Stainless steel brake lines
Hawk brake pads
New drive shaft
New shocks
New summer only tires
Sway bars

OK,
Engine -
CIA with tuner
Underdrive Pullies
Headers
Throttle body
Cams
Would like a roots type blower but not sure if financially viable in two years with all the other mods planned?
Might try a small shot of N20 instead of the blower for financial reasons. Unless I get that raise i'm hoping for!
Chassis -
Lowering springs
Gears 4.10
Lower control arms
Short throw shifter
Aluminum Drive shaft
BMR anti roll bar eliminator
Better brakes
New wheels and tires (street)
Lightweight racing wheels and DOT drag radials
My goal is to go deep into the 12 second range naturally aspirated. I prefer the straight line performance stuff as opposed to the twisty curvy Hallett type racing. Therefore my list contains items most likely to make this possible.
What about body modifications? Anybody have a plan for this?

Hi guys - been forever since I've been on this thread; but I'm still around! I'll try and keep up with the happenings; would love to make the next lunch meeting with everyone. Paul - did you ever talk to Kurtis about tuning your Lightning?

Not really a bad price. Interesting setup. The main question... Does it come in Vista Blue?

Ok guys... I just got back from the track. I ran 3 min 48 sec 1/4 mile. Obviously traction was an issue. I think I could get into the 2 min range with drag chains....
#335
3 min. 48 sec @ 10mph breaks my record of 3 min. 52 sec @ 9 mph with only sand bags installed...... I'm afraid to drive my car in the snow as I wisely chose the performance white hue that tends to be invisible in the snow. I agree though that drag chains and salt ejection device would improve your times.
#336
Anybody want to play hide and seek in the snow? ..........

Ok! David has us beat here guys! We'll call it Performance SNOW White...
FYI- My baby is tucked away in the garage... I did take the lightning out earlier.... No traction. Too many ponies. Thank God for the wife's FWD Sable...

Anybody with a daily driver and a front spoiler........please call me to get my address and then drive up and down my drive and street several times, thanks.
#339
Maybe that friggin Vista Blue that is so fast could drive bye @ 100+ mph and blow the snow off the road !!

I don't suppose one of you fine gentlemen has a Vista Blue snow blower? I hear they are the fastest at blowing the snow......
