Emilee, glad you're reasonably alright! The pics of your Stang are frightening, to say the least. Best of luck to you and I sincerely hope there are no lasting physical (or emotional) problems. So sorry to see this happen to anyone, but especially a Mustanger! Take care.

OH MY LORD, THANK GOD YOU SURVIVED.....

THANKS FORD, I like the idea that the 05 is not a Pinto, beautiful how the tank remained wrapped under the trunk floor.

PRAISE GOD.

Sorry about your stang that is just horrible in pictures.

Glad you're o.k.

Wish they would just lock up people who have revoked liscenses or no insurance when they're caught driving. If you don't have either then there's no reason for you to be on the road. They've obviously already proven that they're not safe to drive.

Glad you are still with us, Emilee. All my hopes for a speedy (and trouble free) recovery. Be sure to tell your attorney about that lingering neck pain you've been having.....

Jeez... it crumpled right into the back of the driver's seat! Sorry about your car, but it's a miracle you weren't more badly hurt.

[QUOTE]If anyone knows of a yellow GT, manual with ALL of the goodies at a dealer somewhere let me know. I will have it shipped here.

Brandon Ford in Tampa, Fla has one listed on their website.....www.brandonford.com,
It says it's a yellow GT with charcoal leather seats, manual trans.
Hope you're alright. Don't let this birdbrain get away :nono: . Get better!!

Thank God you're okay and I hope you get well soon. My only advice is not to rush the legal stuff: make sure that you understand everything that is happening regarding your health and car. If you're not sure of anything, be sure to ask for clarifications.

Emilee,

I can't begin to tell you how sorry I am for you. Glad to see you have survived it. That is one of the worst examples of car crashes I've seen. Again, glad you're ok, just having aches and pains.

Only had her two weeks and then some bum does this. You just never know. I'm going to pay more attention to my rear view from now on. Get well very soon!!!

Dan

Just came back and looked at your photos, in disbelief, again. Many of us have stated that the head/neck rests in this car were ugly the way they were so high and leaned forward. Do you feel like maybe Ford knew what they were doing, and having them as designed helped prevent you further injury?

People have been posting that the raised truck may have actually helped in this circumstance... it's possible, but not likely. Plain and simple, it's luck that kept things from being worse. If that truck had T-boned someone rather than rear-ending you, that bumper would've entered the car through the drivers window at the height of someone's head, instead of the anti-intrusion beams height inside the door.

One thing's for sure, seeing your photos makes us all feel lucky, and rethink a lot of things. Again, wishing you well.

Maybe next photo shoot you will be doing the burn out, because I dough there is much someone with your attitude couldn’t do.

Emilee - thank goodness you are alive!!! Main point (made many times over) is that cars can be replaced - people cannot! I'm hoping you get well soon and wish you the very best. If there is anyway that we here on the forum can help - just ask - we Mustanger's stick together!!

I'm shocked by the pictures of your GT - not sure if this is a good testament to the Mustangs - crashworthiness or not??? I wonder what other cars would have ended up looking like? Sure wouldn't have wanted to see a 350Z in this kind of accident......did notice the fuel filler tube was torn out of the body - but still intact....perhaps that's why Ford made it that way?

Again - god bless that you are still with us and take care and get better soon!

Bradley

Amazing you walked away from this. How was the person in the honda that you hit in the front? Hopefully you will feel better in a few days once your body relaxes and heels. And if you are able to find another car get the side airbags. Imagine if this guy hit you in the side instead. Yes it may not have done much but Id rather take my chances with than without. Good luck

Cars can be replaced, you can`t , so I`m glad you are okay, sort of. I hope for a speedy recovery, and a speedy replacement for your baby. Good luck
