OH MY GOD. I thought I had it bad when soccer mom hit my door at 5 mph with her mini van. Took six weeks to get a new door shell because they hadn't made extra doors yet. I almost cried. Well, I hope the best for you!!!

Wow, I guess your a testiment to the structural integrity of the new Stang if you could walk away, albeit painfully, from a 50mph rear-ender by an F350.
What IS it about oafs in trucks and getting rear ended anyway?
My Probe GT got clocked in the **** by some oaf in a Dodge truck one evening about a year or two ago. He drove off (hit and run) but my Probe survived quite well after repairs (tough Flat Rock, MI cars).
Then a year ago, my girlfriends beloved Saab 9000 got totalled by another oaf in a truck who hit the truck behind it, driving that truck into her car and her car into yet another truck. Her mother was driving and walked away (Saabs are build pretty tough too), but the insurance totalled her car (a mint '92). And once again, that oaf sped off (hit and run).
Is there something about pickups that cause people to go stupid or what?
Anyway, glad you're pretty much OK. You can always get a new Stang.
PS With your bright yellow Stang, how could you be any MORE visible :bang:

thanks again guys. Yeah, cops were saying to me in the ER "well, he can't use the excuse that he didn't see ya, because your car is about as visable as they come!"
My dealer ordered me a new pony on 4/18 the day after the wreck. They apparently showed Ford & the region rep pics of the crash and are optimistic that the new one will get built quickly so i can be back in the saddle with a shorter wait this time! i sure hope so!

there was no one else in the car with me. I had to crawl out my passengers door because my drivers door wouldn't open.
I got a ton of x-rays and cat scans done at the ER, and they say no broken bones, but i am in a lot of pain.
anyway, here they are. Sorry guys, i had to edit this and take some of the pictures out, my data transfer limit on my site just went up about 700% of normal in one day
