I was rear ended today in boise by a HUGE F350 pickup going about 50 mph. I was stopped at the light, only one at the stop light in my lane, and i was pushed so far into the intersection that i hit a honda in the front and my airbag deployed.

I am on a load of drugs right now, i am in pain but still alive! My right arm came down on my shifter i think and i have a giant round swollen bruise on it. my neck & lower back hurt like nothing else, and i'm sure i'll be worse tomorrow.

the jerk in the truck was driving on a suspended license. The truck was not his. However, the truck has insurance on it they think. They would have hauled him off to jail on the spot but he had to get stitches on his chin. He got a ton of citations, including a wreckless driving ticket.

My car, as you can see, is obviously totaled. We are now on a quest for an identical version somewhere in the USA so i do not have to wait for another.

This guy will be paying out his *@&(#*& for this. i am pissed, and i hurt, and my baby is gone :sadno: :sadno:

there was no one else in the car with me. I had to crawl out my passengers door because my drivers door wouldn't open.

I got a ton of x-rays and cat scans done at the ER, and they say no broken bones, but i am in a lot of pain.

anyway, here they are. Sorry guys, i had to edit this and take some of the pictures out, my data transfer limit on my site just went up about 700% of normal in one day

OH, MY GOD!!! I'm so glad you're alright. That guy needs to be hung! I know you're sick about it! I surely would be! I hope you can find another to replace that one.
Best of luck to you!

My God! All I can do is thank the lord profusely that that level of damage happened to the REAR END of that car rather than the front or the sides. It literally looks like the back end, including the rear seat row is just GONE, like NOT THERE ANYMORE.

holy crap!!!!

Dude you are so lucky to be alive. If anybody was in the back seat they would be dead for sure. Real dumb though to get out of the car yourself after that accident. If your back was broken, you'd be sitting in a chair now.

Find some ambulance chaser lawyer and sue that guy's hiney off and get a new car ASAP.

Unbelievable. I am glad you're okay - that's the most important thing. It is a sad sight to look at your car too, don't get me wrong. That's darn depressing, but everyone's health is not as easily replaced.

darn bud! I'm glad your alive and kicking! And I am REALLY glad you didn't have anyone with you in the rear seat!

Get better and figure out what options you want on your 2006 model!

Oh, and do you need any help for a good old fashioned sheet party for this human waste???

i was in the emergency room while my dad & my friend chris took these pictures. Chris pulled the GT emblem off for me... keepsake i guess.

I got out of the car because there was airbag smoke everywhere and i couldn't breathe, and i was in shock and didn't want something to catch on fire or something. i panicked and tried to get out as fast as i could.

I really don't want to wait for an '06 but i may have to. If anyone knows of a yellow GT, manual with ALL of the goodies at a dealer somewhere let me know. I will have it shipped here.

Dude its the greatest thing to see somebody live through an accident as horrible as that. I hope you have the speediest of recoveries and take that guy for all you can.

Emilee,
Not sure if you're like me in this respect, but I just wanted to say that you have all of us. There is nothing more depressing than an accident, and I can't imagine one that causes that level of damage physically. The psychological scars that accidents have left on me have been pretty deep. Nightmares, depression, etc. Just know that there are people out here who care.

No, the moron driving the F350 will have it shipped there.

Wow, glad to hear you are ok. That was a major accident. Note to self, noone rides in the back seat.

Also, again, glad to hear you are ok, and I am glad to see how intact the [front] passenger compartment is even in such a bad wreck.
