Anyone in that backseat would have been crushed to death. That is a really terrible accident.

I hope you get this S.O.B. and at least a high six-figure payout. They better put him away for a long time. The "special" treatment he'll get from fellow inmates should remind him to watch where the heck he is driving!!!!

Best wishes for a speedy recovery.

Horrible. Along with everyone on this board, I wish you the most expiditious recovery, the highest compensation, and best of luck finding a new steed.

I have a carseat in the back of my stang....my daughter, the center of my universe, would not likely have made it through that.

the car seat comes out tommorow. she will ride in mommy's car from now on, an expedition.

upon seeing the pictures of this horrible accident, i tearily went in and hugged my sleeping little 3 year old girl. i thanked god to have her, and that this hadn't happened to me, then i said a prayer for you emilee. things like this can make you really sit back and think.

everything happens for a reason, sometimes it is impossible for us to understand, but there is a reason.

maybe your misfortune saved some lives.

I will search for a new stang for you too.

so sorry. so glad that you are going to be OK.

Get yourself a great chiropractor ASAP. I was in a similar accident, spent one and a half years in physical therapy with little results. Saw a chiropractor, and within one and a half months.....amazing progress.

Best of luck!

Well thank goodness you made it out of there Emilee. Cars, no matter how nice they are, are replaceable, you're not.

Hopefully you can get an 07' Cobra out of this scumbag or the "other" guy that let him borrow his bigfoot replica.

So glad you got out of there in one piece, Emilee. I hope you won't get any lingering effects, my best wishes on your recovery.

As for the car, I'm so impressed it held up so well anyway. The coupe cage managed to absorb all that energy with no help from the lower frame, that's amazing. Question: Did you wear a seatbelt?

I think this is a good illustration to all those out there driving around those huge trucks and SUV's imagining it's 'safer'. Yeah, but you're more likely to kill someone, how about that?

it was a 1999 F350

AND

it was raised by like a freakin foot or two. It was gigantic. The thing literally parked itself on top of my car.
This Exactly Why the Government is trying to pass Laws That Make It Mandatory, that if you Raise the Vehicle, the Bumpers are Supposed to be Lowered to The Original Height. Obviously the Bumper on this Bubba's Truck Wasn't Anywhere Near Legal Height. That's Why there is So Much Damage to the Rear of the Car. If It's Bumper Had Been at Stock Height It Would Have Impacted Your Rear Bumper Area, where the car is Designed to Absorb The Impact, and Not the Trunk and Quarter Panels!

You Really Need to Talk to Your Lawyer about the fact that This Vehicle was SO MODIFIED that It Cause Damage Far In Excess of What It Would Have if Un Modified.

I Just Hope that you don't have any Permanent Injuries, and Glad to Know that even though this is a Terrible Accident that It Does Make Me Feel Good to Know that The Mustang is A Very Well Built Car, and that You Survived an Accident Like This Because Of It.

Get Well Soon!

I can't believe you are alive - and with NO broken bones! Consider yourself blessed. That moron in the F-350 must have been drugged not to have seen a "screaming yellow" GT in his path. I hope you get a good lawyer and take him for all he's worth. (even though he sounds like a loser who has nothing!) Frank

What adds insult to injury (quite literally) is that there is probably only minor cosmetic damage to his truck
Yup, built Ford tough. The F series are some darn good trucks when it comes to crashes.

Sorry about your loss. I lost my baby too

I am so happy that you are ok. Make sure that you do not settle until the doctors say that you will be ok. Cars are replacable, but you are not. Also, sue that guys **** off!
