OMG!!

Good to hear you are okay (less a few bad bruises) Recover soon, and get yourself another mustang. Be thankful you were not driving a smaller, older car.

Dude .... document EVERYTHING and with pictures .... Bruising ....bleeding ...cuts ..... you name it ...I would even try and sit back into the front seat if possible and try to get some shots of what it must have been like when you were in the car. After something like that, if that is a company vehicle, I would own that company .... No kidding .... I would own the company ... I would own the owner that was letting him drive it .... I would own the driver ..... No one would get far enough away from me.

You are very luck to have tangled with an F350 and survived.

Glad you are OK ..... cars can be replaced ....

WTF! :bang:

Glad to hear that nothing was broken and hope that the pain subsides quickly. Try to keep an eye and hear on the Jackazz that hit you to make sure his lawyer does not plead down all those citations the police issued. Best of luck on finding a replacement! Let us know how this all pans out.

That God your alive. Count your blessings.

About your car

Your pony died young, but I'm sure you'll be able to lasso another one.

Maybe even a GT500 with all the payoff you'll be getting.

OMG Glad you are OK, but you better listen to everyone and get checked out completely, I had a accident like that in a 66 Chevelle over 30 years ago and am still having neck and back pain from the Whiplash. Don't wait get some tests done on your neck and spine, believe me it is worth it. Just am so Thankful you were able to crawl out of that mess. I will never let anyone sit in the backseat of my Mach after seeing that. The good Lord was watching over you, you can replace your Car, but we can't replace ourselves. Now get a dang good Attorney, and sue that guy for everything, before he does it to someone else and they won't be so lucky.

Wow, don't know how I overlooked this. That really stinks hiney. But on a brighter note you are alive, a bit bruised but still for the most part uninjured. Of course, if you have another vehicle you can wait for the cobra to come out, and have the insurance money cover at least half of it.

I too was in shock when I saw the pics and wish you a speedy recovery, and a great settlement. It is scary how close the trunk lid is to your driver's head rest! I also hope the truck has insurance, because the dirt bag driving it probably doesn't have a penny to his name.

Please keep us updated on your progress, and the progress of the claim.

Emilee - I wish you a very speed recovery. Those pics are very shocking. I don't blame you for getting out of there right away, I would have done the same thing. You're going to be VERY sore, but thank God your injuries weren't more serious. You'll be in my prayers.

My heart goes out to you. I am glad that you were not hurt worse. I was in a bad accident a few year ago, and you will be sore for a while and you may always have some back and neck problems as a result.

I would get a good phycial theripist once the doc realeases you and work hard at getting better. The quicker you get off the drugs and working out the faster you will heal.

Good luck. I will say a few prayers for you and your family...

Tough thing to go through...

P.S. You can probably get a new 06 COBRA out of the deal....

WOW! Thank God you are ok. As much as we love these cars, this puts it all in perspective. It is only a car! You will find another.

Please do us all a favor if you are capable, and take these pictures and testify against this bastard so he will not end up killing somebody next time.
The judge or jury needs to see the severity of this so they can impose the maximum jail time.

Oh my goodness, Emilee, you are lucky to be alive. I hope you are feeling okay this morning. I had a real major surgery 16 months ago, and I can undrstand what kind of pain you are in. I can tell you from experience, you will feel a little better each day, it just takes time.

I am sending you a PM in regards to where you can look for a Yellow GT in the USA (If you get 2 messages, I didn't think the 1st one went through). I work at a dealer in Pa, and I looked around the country for one as close to yours. You can forward the info to that A**hole's Insurance company and tell them to go and get you a new car. Glad you are okay, and I hope you get better. Just remember, a car car can be replaced, but a life can't. It could have been a whole lot worse.

What adds insult to injury (quite literally) is that there is probably only minor cosmetic damage to his truck
I would have gotten out and added some more.

I hope that guy does pay through the *@&(#*&V
I would be pissed too.

I hope you find a new one soon.

Glad you are still with us.

I'm very sorry to see what's happened to you and your car, Emilee. As others have said, your car is replaceable. There's only one you! I'm glad you walked away from that wreck. I hope you heal up quickly and that you find a car to replace the one you've lost. We're all pulling for you. Even though TMS members find themselves at odds with one another at times, I'm sure we are united in wishing you the best.

Now, as far as this guy driving the F-350: you know what they say, the bigger the truck, the smaller the...well, you know what!

Just curious, did lowering your 'Stang have any bearing on the amount of damage sustained? Will you lower your new 'Stang?

Take care, Emilee

Emilee, Here's to a speedy and complete recovery.
Please listen to the other posts. Even if you feel ok, get thoroughly checked out. We were rear- ended in an Explorer by a Firebird in heavy airport traffic hard enough that their airbags deployed. Our Explorer had minor bumper damage, but my father-in-law had vision "floaters" for a short time after, even with wearing seat belts, from the impact.
Don't dismiss any minor ache as just that, have it checked.
