In sad news, my favorite Oriole of all time........."Mr. Oriole"............"The Human Vacuum Cleaner" died yesterday. Brooksie was just as well known around here for his kindness off the field as he was for his skill on the field. I was never so lucky as to meet him in person. But short story about his character, my boss (decades ago when he was in school) had to write a paper on their idols or people that inspired them. He chose Brooksie and way back then the only thing they could do was write to the Orioles organization and hope it reached the right person. He had a few pages of interview questions.
Anyway, he got a response in the form at a 13 page handwritten letter answering all of his questions. He thinks he still has it somewhere at home. How awesome he was to take the time to write back!

Got Started and Fell Down The Rabbit Hole!I Found Almost 50 Buried Due To Incomplete Titles or Spelling Gauge, Incorrectly as Guage on Quite a Few Threads! Many Are Now Gone! Still Updating! Why Did I Open Pandora's Box!
It's Fun Finding Some of The Old Members Post's Happy With the Parts I had Offered Back in the Day! But there is Also a Dark Side as I Find The Odd Knuckle Head With Negative Nelly Post's in General! Many From the Time Period I Was Absent. It Paints a Picture of the Problems I Had Not Been Aware Of! Well If You Don't Know The Past It Can Be Repeated and I Would Like To Avoid That Scenario. Live & Learn!
A Big Thanks to Our New Mod ShaneyUsa For Finding a Spammer who was a Long Time Member & Went to the Dark Side! She Had 8800 Posts Between 2004-2011. I figured out a Search To Narrow Down to about 8 Threads Where She Had Embedded about 30 Spam Links. Some Dead But The Active Ones Were of the ADULT Nature! Good Riddance! I'm Not Going to Post Her Name as it Will Just get People Looking At Her Threads for Giggles!
Also I stumbled Accross an Old Spammer Who Got Banned But Had Hidden a Bunch of Links As Well in His 57 Posts! He was a Thorn in the Side of Members For a Year or So With Bizzare Posts which Fired up Members to Lets Say Rough Posts! Thanks To Our First New Mod m05fastbackgt For Editing and Deleting Those Bad Posts Yesterday!
Our Work Has Just Begun For Getting Rid of Threads or Posts With No Value {Bad Links, Lost Pics, Spam, Etc and Retaining and Updating Those Which are Still of Value to the Community!

Well Admin Benefits are a 20% Raise Per Year At Same Moderator Base Pay! But the Taxes are The Downside!
