That’s ridiculous. But so was the “rain tax” we had to pay for a few years

I'm right there with you. Good luck screwing with MY well on MY property. Don't even get me started about the **** you're gonna face if you screw with my spring that the family has used for a century.

I’d love to finally start building our lake house but this economy still sucks so we are still on hold. VA is about as far south as Mr. Jill will go so he can still travel to his daughter’s grave. I’d better I pay the Bronco off first anyway. Bought her one year ago today!

Headed out shortly for a week at the beach in NC and my stepdaughter’s wedding on the beach Friday. So if y’all would pray for good weather for us for the week, I’d appreciate it!

Same here in northern VA, it's been ridiculous. I remember last year it was like this though. Very cool, wet spring ( it was May and June last year). We have a lemon tree we move outside for the summer and it was so cool and damp it got black mildew all over it. Once the weather dried up, we barely had any measurable rain in July and August. We were running sprinklers almost every day just to keep our grass being grass and not hay.

That was absurd but not surprising with the elected idiots there. Please do your no rain dance and get me some good weather north of you...I'm headed to Carlisle next week.

And Virginia isn't far enough south....the north easters have killed MD and have headed further south....some just jump to lower New York(Florida) and others have migrated down to NC and SC...pretty soon the whole east coast is going to be an extension of New York and New Jersey...LOL. Don't get me wrong, there are some good ones but most of them don't know how to wave with their hole hand and have no manners it seems. I'm glad I made my exodus when I did...I miss what the Chesapeake Bay area was long ago but it hasn't been that way in a long time. I think St. Mary's County and some of the Eastern shore are still trying to hold on but it's overcrowded everywhere...I remember whe Front Royal VA and Winchester was rural and not a suburb of DC.

I hear you, last year in our month of May we had for the whole month 1/10th of an inch of rain!!! Ironically we had just taken ownership of our new home with a freshly seeded lawn! We had to run sprinklers all month which of course raised our monthly water bill to double!

If I were in your shoes, Kevin, I'd get the hell away from California as far away as possible... My one half brother used to live in LA until he finally got fed up with the high cost of living along with the tax rates being at 7.25%... He's since relocated to Tucson, AZ and couldn't be happier.

I Would Have To Have a Fire Sale First! Wait The Neighbor Almost Did That For Me!

We Had Too Many Good Times With The Kids Here To Leave. All Our Best Memories are Here in This House & Acre Lot. Since 1996!

I Do Have To Thin Out The Herd Though!

I Remember The Move Here From Another Town 10 Miles Away! Did Most of it By Myself With a Short Bed Gmc Truck. Andrew Was Mid Treatment For The Leukemia. So The Wife Was Handling That. I Don't Know How Many Runs I Made But I Bet it Was a Lot! Only Had about 7 Cars Then and All But One I Think I Drove Over. Have Not Thought About That For a Long Time!

Hi guys and gals.

Please keep my mom, my brother and myself in your prayers.
My mom went into the hospital yesterday. She may not be coming home. That will be two parents lost in the same year, less than 3 months apart and under really ****ty conditions. Absolutely horrendous.

I appreciate it.
Thank you.

Will do! I know exactly how you feel and it's definitely hard to go through. My mom was a single parent and we lost her in September 2018, then in June 2019 my MIL never woke up one morning and that same day my FIL went into the hospital where he remained until we lost him two months later in August. They were married 64 years. We lost all three of our parents in less than a year. It was certainly a rough year. I'll be thinking of you............

Wow,...that is very tough. I am sorry for all that. That is terrible.
Thank you very, very much for the kind words Jill. I truly appreciate it.

Thank you Rocky.
My mom has late stage dementia, so it only gets worse. She cannot really eat or drink/difficulty swallowing.
I truly appreciate the kind words Rocky.
