Where is this amp supposed to go in the trunk? It won't fit on the bracket that is there. I know it is supposed to go there somewhere.
Anyone willing to help? A pic would be appreciated if you could.
Thanks in advance.

Also, in the attached diagram, coming from pin #24 on C290D and onto C210, the wire leads to a shield. This shield seems to have something to do with all the wires going to the amp. What is this shield, and do I need it?

Since I can't put my amp in until I know what this 'shield' is, I put in theclimate system harness.
I can confirm that this fixed the reverse temp problem. It now functions as normal.
All I need is sound now.
... and a reverse camera.

The 'shield' is just the type of cable used. In another thread a member confirmed that it is a cable with 4 pairs of wires with each pair twisted together. They are then wrapped in a metal foil or braid with a 9th wire inside - this 9th wire is a drain.
Finding the right cable is a pain. I'll be picking it up on Monday or Tuesday. This should be done before Friday.

All finished.
I have sound back now.
I am quite happy with this. Everything works now as it should. Everything was plug and play except for the OEM amp. And you could certainly just go aftermarket for the amp and save yourself the trouble there.
What you will need:
main dash harness ($200 - $300) - you need to check the build date of your car in order tio be sure you get the right harness for your car. Part number ranges from AR3Z to CR3Z 14401 with end letters. Mine was CR3Z 14401 KA.
climate system harness ($30) - AR3Z 18B574 B. This is to get the temperature buttons to work right, otherwise they will work in reverse - but they will work without this.
sun load sensor ($20) - DG9Z 13A018 A. Don't know what this enables, but with the new dash harness, the old sensor won't plug in anymore. The old sensor uses 2 wires, while the new one use 4. It has a driver and passenger sensor in it.
antannnae harness ($30? I already had this with my dash harness) - AR3Z 10E928 A?
climate control module ($75) - CR3Z 19980 B.
NAV ACM (the unit itself) - You'll have to get this from a wrecker. Ford won't sell it to you. You'll need to pay attention as to whether the NAV is programmed for heated seats and rear camera or not. Mine had these, but yours may not and it will need to be programmed. You would need to find a car that had these options and use its VIN.
monitor ($400 - get it from a wrecker with your NAV instead) - CR3Z 10E899 A
center console bezel ($ ? - get it from the wrecker) - Again, check for heated seats.
optional:
amp ($125) - AR3Z 18B849 C
pigtails for amp ($35) - WPT 955 and WPT 998
bracket for amp ($40) - AR3Z 14536 A
There you have it. Everything you need to put in an OEM NAV.
I got the NAV ACM, monitor, antannae cable, dash harness (which I couldn't use) and center console bezel for $600 from a wrecker. All in I spent ~$1100 on this.
Thanks to everyone that helped me with my questions!
Cheers!!

I listed the amp as optional because you could go after market instead. That way you wouldn't need to make your own wiring harness and snake it to the trunk and back.
But if someone does go with OEM, I can walk them through it and tell them what slots to put pins in, what wiring and such.
Also, it is my understanding that the 2013s don't need an extra amp.

I have a ton of parts needed for the conversion from non nav to nav. I might have what you need.

I almost have everything to complete this conversion. I’m just stuck with an issue regarding the dash harness. I have a 2014 gt automatic with heated seats. I have a pull out harness from from a 2013 manual. The part number is ER3T-14401-KA. Will this harness work with the heat seated panel I bought. I heard I may need the harness DR3Z-14401-KC for my 2014. Can anyone help clear this up.
