BAMA round 2 = Fail

If your hand held tuner is not working then yes AM would be responsible to send you a device that works correctly but they are not SCT and the manufacture. If the device is faulty then that's the fault of Sct not AM. That faulty hand held tuner would of come faulty the same had that faulty tuner ship to MPT or Steeda instead of AM. AM doesn't manufacture and produce its very own AM performance tuner.
I'm confident if you speak with AM they will gladly exchange your faulty tuner with a proper working hand held tuner or just have a refund for the whole tuner and go with another tunning company. Try MPT or Steeda then.

This is ALL THAT MATTERS. If you're the company selling a product, whether it's made by you or not, you support it, you stand by it. You work with your customers on fixing.
I'm glad you spoke up. You're not the only one that this has happened to by them. They come on and try to save face, but yet the resolve and actions needed is still not done. Pathetic.
Did you not read what he posted above? He's attempted to contact them NUMEROUS times and no avail. Hence the issues at hand.

He's been trying several times to contact them by calling, pm, email. They are not responing. I'm the one who had to let Dan know about this thread before they came in and tried to shower everyone with gifts and promises not to miss another customer's issue but here we are with them dropping the ball again. I understand you have had great experiences with A.M. I have too but they have left many others hanging. A.M. sponsors/promotes Bama like they are one in the same so I expect them to be on top of things when they go wrong and help those that need it. I shouldn't have to alert them to these issues.

I've been silent long enough... I've been burned by them many times before which I don't need to go into. I want no part of any refund, etc. I just take my business elsewhere. For those of you that choose them, I truly hope you get treated fairly and with respect.

Most of my mods are purchased through AM. A good amount of $ spent on the 3.7L and 5.0L. The pricing, free shipping, great timely delivery, and well visualized website is what got my business.
Never had a problem with AM delivery of parts minus a couple poorly packaged items. Maybe that is UPSs fault.
I mentioned that my first tune from them was great. I was happy with it. It was my first upgrade with a CAI. Every mod after has been a hassle.
I have expressed my concerns/issues this last week extensively out of frustration.
I spent time and money installing a permanent tuner in my pony. I live a very particular lifestyle, maybe I am extremely picky. I only ask what I paid for, too many bad tunes will put a bad taste in anyone's mouth.
The issue with my itSX is that it needs to be deleted and repaired upon tuning, everytime. I have tried several iPads and iPhones to eliminate hardware troubleshooting. I contacted SCT and applied firmware updates with the result of same issue.

I agree… That's what's so annoying about this guy. He somehow has a "Rosy" experience with AM, and now he thinks that therefore that is how AM treats all their customers. Nothing could be further from the truth. Covering it all up with refunds and gifts and empty promises to attempt to save their reputation is pathetic. They're more worried about their reputation than their actual customer.

Not just a rosy experience but three years worth of rosy experiences. I don't believe Dan or AM is trying to cover anything up. Dan is just trying to take a bad , stressful situation for a customer and try to make it right. Dan and Shane are trying to provide a level of support to AM customers and make it right for mishaps. I have no doubt that AM will give a full refund back to CVH.

On a side note, the interior of your car looks awesome.

I am running the Bama tunes on my 13 GT now. No issues, customer service is great and I have a big grin on my face. A "great" difference all the way around. I have not tried the race tune yet. Street87 and performance93 so far run at perfection.
If you can't get 93+ octain in your area make sure you are not running the 93+ tunes. I read many are getting knocking , etc. Check your fuel and older cars might be the reason too.

I too am no longer using Bama----> Steeda sent me a tune and wow. I am very impressed. A totally new car, man she screams. The power just keeps climbing in every gear. and the sound - man she sounds completely different. I was debating taking off my resonators before this tune. I have decided to keep them in now. Plus the tune is unlocked and i have the ability to adjust parameters now. Thanks TJ.
BAMA or Dan has yet to respond to me.

Thanks for contacting me. I know we can get you taken care of, if you're still interested!
First- the defective iTsX Module. I'm sorry to hear you're having issues with it cutting in and out. I'm glad you've tested other iPads and iPhones first, so we know it's definitely a defective device.
When you called in to the Bama Team or Mustang Experts and they recommended you to talk to SCT. Did you get a chance to call back after SCT confirmed the module need to be replaced, instead of fixed? If you did, I'm really surprised no one setup an exchange for a new one. As you would have gone through the normal requirements to replace a tuner.
Regardless, I'd be more than happy to send you a replacement! I received your PM, but I didn't see a phone number in there. Nor was I able to find your contact information in our system. Is there a chance you used a different address when originally ordering or maybe it was a gift from a another person? Please send me another PM with your phone number, so I can call you to set the exchange up ASAP!
In your PM you mentioned Steeda used a different strategy code for your Mustang and it feels a lot stronger. This throws a red flag up to me. If the Bama Team has been writing tunes for the wrong strategy code, that would make sense why you've had so many issues with the tune acting up.
I know you're happy with the new tune, but I'd really like to get you situated with the Bama tune as well. If you're still interested, my lead tuner knows just what to do if we provide him the correct strategy code!
Hope to hear from you soon to get this straightened out!
Shane
The problem is Bama which is only ok compared to A.M. which is great. I just installed my ported & polished upper & lower intakes along with my new Bama tune and the car actually got slower! I'm going to try out MPT. This is not the first time I've gotten a new tune from them and the car was slower and had less power than before.
Your Mustang definitely shouldn't feel slower by any means. I think there's something going on here as well. Even if the tune was never changed, the MAF should be able to calibrate for the additional incoming air and you should feel an increase in power. Have you contacted the Bama Team and sent them a datalog?
Please send me a PM with your First/Last name and shipping address. I want to have one of our best Bama Tuning Specialists work through this with you. I'm confident they'll get things handled!

I'll shoot you a PM in a few minutes if I have better luck. Thanks again for the quick response. I can't wait to get you squared away!
Shane
I understand why you feel that way and I'm sorry to hear. I'm glad we'll continue to keep you as a customer, but it's certainly disappointing to lose you as a Bama customer.
If you have the time, would you mind PM'ing me your strategy code & contact information? If you wish to not be contacted, that's perfectly fine and we won't do so. I just want to look up your information to compare your strategy code to the code Bama was tuning for. As if it was different, that would help clear things up on our end. Again, only if you have time, no worries if you don't.
Thanks for quickly responding back too. I'll look forward to doing business with you in the future. Hit me up if you ever need assistance!
