Um thanks for the advice, but you obviously don't know me or my situation. Don't worry about me though. You have enough on your hands as it is.

Thanks for the specific example!

I know of at least one GT built after mine that has been delivered. I wonder if it has to do with the way the cars are parked or if it's relative to the time it takes to perform whatever tests / fixes are required.

My dealer explained to me that parking after the build has an affect on timing. Cars built first during a run are shipped last due to being parked in the back, cars built last during a run are shipped first due to being parked up front.

I cant believe no one has posted about the tornadoes and storms that ripped through (within 30 miles) of your cars this weekend! All around the place up there. Many people got killed so at least think of that before you start worring about how beat to hell the cars are.

Edit: And yes there was Hail.....................

I checked the box on the order that said: after build, do you wish to leave car parked ouside exposed to the elements OR for $15 more, leave it parked inside in our of our numerous garages. I choose of course the second option. You always have to read the fine prints. Didn't you guys see that !

killer storms can pop up anywhere, pray for those who lost more than a car...and hope a boatload of new Fords didnt get ball-peen hammer marks all over them.

I have head they are right around AAI but not for sure. There are LARGE lots around it if you look on Google but that may or may not be worker parking

I think that's a dealer option. . . no "checkbox" for me on that one.

They're at the AAI facility. Google map Flat Rock, MI.

They are. You can see on the map all the colorful Mustangs (not this year.) You can also see auto transports and rail cars on the tracks.

Here's an article from the Detroit Free Press:

Pretty isolated (unless you live near 50 and 23...)

I think it's stange they provide a phone number for people wanting information about the nuclear (or new-kew-ler if your George Bush), power plant, but no number for people concerned with Area 51. What's up with that?????
