Congratulations your Car is beautiful. That is my favorite color interior.

Why did it not come with a strut Brace?

I was looking it up and I'm about 3 hours 20min away (door to door) from where the car is being built to my house.

I'm hoping that once it hits transit, it will arrive within a day or two!

What is the average time from production date to dealer delivery date? I just bought a 14 GT/SC with a production date of 5/15. How long until the dealer actually gets the car?

Mine was built 05/05 but is still waiting to ship out. If you figure 6 weeks from the build date, that's probably on the long side of things, depending where you are.

Wow that's kinda a long time! Mine has the Glass Roof too so I'm figuring that will make it take longer...

you're going to have to let me know how you like the glass roof! i was on the fence about that upgrade and deleted that from my order at the last minute!

To me, its sort of one of those things that have to stay clean for you to enjoy it otherwise, its just another dirty glass to look through and I'm not overly keen about having one extra piece of glass to clean.

Back in 2009 I thought it was a joke, $2k for a sunroof that doesn't open? What a waste of money! Then in 2010, I drove a new 2010 GT with it and it was life changing. I will never buy another car without glass over my head lol. It's so worth it. I can't wait to take my fiancé and our son on a late night drive so they can look up at the stars! For about $80/month, it is entirely worth it. It would be nice if it opened, but I barely open my sunroof on my Escape now, though I always have the shade open.

oh! that's good. What about when the glass roof is dirty? is it less appealing while driving? I also agree that there are a lot of pro's to it. The overall appeal of it and much more lighting into the car is always a bonus as well. its too bad that i didn't have one that I could have sat in to see first hand. what i got hung up on was the mere fact that it would be more maintenance if it were dirty, it would drive me up the wall to keep it clean to enjoy

I've seen a couple in my area that had Glass Roofs and the owners obviously didn't take care of their car - one was Sterling Gray, and it honestly looked just like SG paint lol. I can't see it being dirty making me not want it. Besides, it's easy to clean the roof, even if it's glass. You could always treat the glass too, so crap doesn't stick to it (Rain-X or something similar). I don't plan on letting my car get so dirty that I can't see out of my windows, so it's hard for me to answer that lol. Still, if it did get dirty, I'd imagine you wouldn't really notice the dirt, just that not as much light is coming in. There is a shade too, so you can just pull it closed.

Thanks,
Best mod was the hood struts. Getting the stick out of my way so I could go to work. Next best thing was to make it sound as awesome as it is. I put the Bama Performance tune on today and took it for a drive. It's like a cat on a carpet making those quick turns. Tomorrow, I will change out the pumpkin cover with a Steeda LPW cover and add the Royal Purple. Once I get another tank through her, I'm putting the Race tune on. I can't believe I just got it a week ago.
