But everytime I do drive it I got that 1st day grin all over again!
+1. I am catching such a wicked *** second gear now, it rediculous. Still got mine set at shortest setting. Did a bit of tweaking with height adjustment, left to right adjustment, and believe I have found my sweet spot....

Now, about the new springs, any pics of the swap out yet?? Just in case.....

Thanks again George....

Hey George,
I just got my shifter and I partially unpacked it during lunch. It looks great! I was wondering, I didn't take out everything as I was afraid of losing some stuff, which springs did it come with? Did it ship with the full force or the progressives... Enquiring minds want to know!

all shifters with an invoice date of tuesday april 10,2007 and after have the new springs. i am going with these on all the shifters from now on as the tension left to right is easier to push but still just as effective for 3rd gear powershifting as the beefier springs.

I got my shifter in the mail today. Woohoo!!

This is the best packed product I've ever received. After getting through all of the wrapping, the quality of the product is totally amazing. The completeness of the kit is unbelievable. This product is by far the best product I have purchased in a very long time. It includes all the nuts, washers, and small tools you will need to install. All the pieces are individually wrapped and labeled. The dynamat is an added plus to reduce the noice levels. None of the other shifter on the market do this. Every piece in the kit that makes contact with another metal part is coated in rubber to reduce noice and vibration. You can tell George wants his product to be the best on the market.

I can't wait to get it installed tomorrow.

The only comment I have to make is to make sure you specify which shifter lever you want when you order. George offers two. If you want one that will work with the stock shifter just tell them you are using the stock ****. If you want the shifter lever exposed as in the hurst, tell them that you want the shifter lever that will work with the Hurst shifter *****. I sent George an email and I'm hoping he can accomodate my request and exchange the shifter lever for me.

For any of you thinking this shifter is a bit more expensive then the others, believe me, IT IS WORTH IT!!! I haven't even installed it yet but from looking at it and comparing it to the others out there, this is defineitely much better engineered and manufactured. The quality is absolutely amazing!

Hey George--

Received my shifter yesterday- It's really a classy, well made piece! My invoice # is 36584 and is dated 4/11. Could I possible get the progressive springs (and instructions to install them) ? My car is more the daily driver than the Speed Racer car. I think the progressives might be a better choice for me. Also, will you be getting the oil caps that are on back order in soon? Thanks buddy,
Jim

Were the springs included seperate from the shifter, or already installed? I went through the enclosed stuff and didn't see any springs or install instructions for them. I want to install the shifter next Saturday and I'd like to have the new springs in it when I do.

George, I wanted to make sure that the extra springs/instructions you included in the package are the new progressives and the springs currently in my shifter are the stiffer ones. My invoice is dated 4/10.

I'm going to be swapping out my shifter, but as crazy as it might sound I have GOT to have a chrome Hurst shifter arm in it. This shifter looks awesome, but it doesn't appear that it will work with a Hurst shifter arm, is that right?

we have a shift rod that will work with the hurst ball but NOT the arm. sorry.

we may be offering some really cool and some retro style shifter ****/ handle combos later for our shifter so it is going to be VERY versatile.

also, to clear things up if you received springs and bushings in the kit with your shifter then i was not yet decided on putting the new springs in all the shifters yet so i left the beefy ones in. i would install it and try it. you may not need the weaker springs but they are there if you need them.

regards
george

p.s. there is really not that much difference in these springs so you guys should relax and not fret over them too much. i will work with you guys to make sure everyone has what they need.

Thanks George, that sounds great! One more question, will whatever combos you come up with work with this shifter? IE, if I get this shifter now will the future "upgrades" bolt to it?
