Well considering we will have it in a brushed aluminum finished and then clear anodized over that, you would have to have it stripped and them re-done.. not sure how it would look after you went through that process.

Subzero05,
Any genuine updates you can give us as of now? Any new pictures, videos, and/or instructions you have available to share with us? Does B&M have a deadline for the release?

The lower stick has arrived at our facility and we have a rental car that's due here today or tomorrow. Once the unit is installed and hopefully everything will go as planned I will update with the results and hopefully be able to provide a timeline for parts to be avail...Chris

Well, due to the laws of physics....
It is probable that a random collision of random atoms will occur at a random time; resulting in something with the exact composition, size, make-up and function of the B&M "auto shifter". I believe this random appearance will occur well before B&M releases it's product. (the very reason i walk around looking up all the time)
C'mon Carl Segan, daddy needs a shifter.

Well I'm on the fence as to try a manual trans swap or not. If this shifter will be available sometime soon, I'll pick one up and see if I like the auto better that way. Don't take me off that list just yet! :-)

Hey Chris, has there been any "in-house" discussion at B&M on how it's going to fill the backlog of demand for the autoshifter when it's finally released? I mean some of us have been loyal fans for the past year, and I'd hate to think B&M would fill all of the part houses orders first before getting to us. Any word?
