guaging interest in an auto shifter

if I didn't feel there was a market for it would I have stuck my neck out, spent months trying to talk with YOU guys, put up pics BEFOREHAND, let you know EXACTLY what has been happening every step of the way etc. etc.. AH, NO!..Obviously the distributors think it is a worth while piece since I have Purchase orders on my desk in excess of 500 units to be sold upon immediate availibility.
Hey Sub- can you check and make sure I am in that stack of 500, **** I dont want to have to wait until the second batch comes out! once again I appreciate what you have done on this and will be sure I order either from B&M or Doug, whoever will sell it to me!

Hasn't there been, at least; a prototype produced? Get the *%#@! thing installed in a car already! Talk is cheap....show a video of someone banging thru the gears with this shifter and people will be able to make up their minds. Functionality is the most important thing IMO

34 pages of posts and only 1 pic of the shifter???? What the heck is taking B&M so long to install the darn thing in a car?
With all of the negative comments about it's looks....you'd think B&M would show the shifter installed and working flawlessly and quiet the criticism.
I'm normally not one to shift my Auto manually.....but I could be persuaded to buy this shifter if I saw it worked well.

Dear, Subzero! the name of the thread you started here..is what!....yes! thats right! Gaging interest in a auto shifter! and you have had just as much positive feedback! if not more than negitive!..So why the beef? You state you have posted "pics" plural.. I have only seen one "pic" singular!..the same Grainy promo shot! thats posted on B&M's web site!....500 units pre-sold...I guess thats good? but with developmental time, material cost, production cost and advertising expense.. I personally would have been hoping for more pre-production orders! .... But hey! you know what your projected production levels needed for profitability are, I don't.... you asked by starting this Thread! ... but on a personal note from the twenty plus years I spent in manufacturing ...What is perceived as negative in-put usually is far more useful! ....than smoke blowing praise! Good Luck! Happy New Year!
