Between you and Gabe, you guys made me upchuck twice today already. first with Gabe and the dirt on his track car, and now you with that company name. Eww. lol.

I guess, what I was saying was, regardless of the source of the blacked out fogs - the concept of the blacked out fogs esp on a dark colored car looks fantastic. Mine were custom made by a shop from a guy I know - dechromed, OEM originals.

Good stuff, Nathan.

I went with the full blacked-out light treatment with tinted overlays from Anchor Room. The fogs were a little tough...still have a couple of wrinkles but you have to get up real close to notice.

That's what I'm talking about Tom. Awesome. I added the halos to mine and they really pop against a dechromed/black background.

Thank you sir. I also replaced the chrome pony with matte black...it's a good stop-gap measure until I decide what to do with the grille. I'd like to hide the fogs behind a tube grille without any emblem.

Got my ARH headers (1 7/8" with 3.5" collector) for my whipple build. Swaintech does nice work coating.

Looking good sir!
What type of coating is that? I know it keeps the headers cooler, but what is it called? The "technical term".

White Lightning (TBC-EX) – A ceramic thermal barrier primarily used on the outside of exhaust parts. Applied approximately .015” thick.

It is white because it is true ceramic that could withstand 3,000 degree heat.

Finally got around to getting the car done. Got front struts, shocks, rotors, pads all the way around plus a 4 wheel alignment. She is riding & stopping better...

Unfortunately all I've done to my Mustang today was walk by it, as it's sitting with "30 miles to empty" and dirty, in the garage, as it's looked since the autocross I did with it last Saturday.
Tomorrow night I'm taking in a local cruise night, so tomorrow I'll get to drive it again, and I guess the 2 main things to do with it before the cruise night should be getting some gas and hitting the local touchless car wash

What brand stuff did you install?
And did you do the work yourself?

All Ford OEM parts, and no, I didn't do the work myself... I had the local Ford dealer service do the work........ to the tune of $1038.40 including my old age discount..
At my age I do good just to get out of my frigging recliner

Very nice! Just throw away that carpet

Mine are coming in a couple weeks from Kooks. Was going to have them ceramic coated but for the gains it might be too costly for me at this point.

Well... I'm reduced to a 7 year old once again - eager with anticipation. I'll be frequenting the UPS site because all my new exhaust parts are on their way!!! Kooks really stepped it up with basically a 1 week turn around time.

I also am in contact with my installer and it will either be Monday or Wednesday next week (weather permitting).

Changed the oil, trans fluid, coolant and brake fluid in preparation for some fun next weekend. If you do not have an automated brake-line bleeder, get one. I'll never change the brake fluid again without mine.
