Cluck Cluck!! Well the snow finally stopped about 1 hour ago. And the wind seems like it is starting to lay down a tad. Looks like I will spend alot of tomorrow plowing the driveway. I have drifts up to 4 ft and some areas of the yard while others are blown clear. The weather radio says our area got between 12-15 inches total and compare it to the blizzard of 78'. Where the heck is spring????

I'll make you a deal...If you can get up my driveway before I plow I'll buy you a couple of cases of your favorite brew!! When the wind was coming from the NE the drifting problems were not a really big deal. But when they turned to the NW all he!! breaks loose. I have a 900 acre farm to the west of me with nothing to stop blowing snow but my fences. Guess where it all end up. The last 6-8 hrs of wind causes me the biggest issues.

Well thanks. I did know I was so tall. It's starting to get light here now and the wind has finally laid down. So I am heading out soon to start the dig out process.

Morning Glenn,
Hard to tell really with all of the blowing and drifting going on. Best guess is between 12 -15 inches. Very similar storm to the 78' blizzard. I have about 600 feet of driveway that needs cleared. It's only 10 degrees here right now but at least the wind is calm. I'll take some pics later after I get out of here.

sun is shining here today, but sure is cold.....
if the roads dry up, I may get the car out this afternoon.
I did install the "Supercharged" decals last night, but I'm not happy with them- they're too small. I can't find anything larger, I think I'll need to get some custom made or just scrap the whole decal idea.

Well it took 4 hrs. on a tractor with a front end loader to clear the drive so we can get out of here. Here are some pictures I took around the house. We love the country but at times like this being a city dweller would have it's upside.
