I hear ya on working around the house. She has me painting around here. I am working in the kitchen/den/utilityroom/outside door area. I spent 3 1/2 hours and about 2 miles of blue painters tape masking all the woodwork, doorways and cabinet trim last night. Been home since 2:30 and just now got it all trimmed out. Having a brew before the roller comes out. Lord...if they is one thing I hate worse than painting it would be putting on a new pinion flange. Get-r-done Scottie!!!

Just about any time after May 17 I should be able to get people to work for me so that I could come hang with you guys for a weekend. I need plenty of notice though.
I had the 'stang out today, it's very nice out. It felt good to hear the rumble of the exhaust and bass of the shaker 1k stereo.

Good for you Justin!!!!! It is still pretty sloppy around here but the snow is melting...just not fast enough to suit me.
I would like to bring back Darrell's idea about have our first Stangstock 08 at the MCA Mustang event over in Columbus,Ohio. (Acually Dublin,Ohio but close enough) I think it is the 3rd week in June. It has been a few years since I have been to it but it is one of the top 10 Mustang events in the country. Not any pretty country side to see but plenty of nice hotels and watering holes in the Columbus area. I know it is a long drive for Justin and STD but there will be every kind of Stang from 64' 1/2 and up there including everything thru 2008. And it will be the best of the best!! I kind of like the idea. What is everyone's take on that for our first meet and greet of 2008??Scott

Great idea about having Stangstock tie in with the Mustang show in Dublin Especially since I live 20 min away
I haven't been to the Mustang show yet myself,so can't comment on it.
I will offer my back yard for a cook-out though.
Ben, good things come in 3's
Darn Scott, you had to remind me about painting
Oh, well small price to pay for the end of winter.
Nice to drive the Mustang again

Oh, the plugs are 9/16".
Mine has 24,700 on it. I'd suggest pulling them by 20K or so, just to anti-seize.
Here's a pic of the deep plug socket I've got, but you can also use a deep well 9/16" & an extension.I loosened mine 1/4 turn, sprayed down with penetrating oil,let that soak a bit, then finished unthreading. There is a few good write-ups on the plugs.

Okay guys it looks like we have a place to have a cookout at.. Very generous of you Larry. I can tote an extra grill to Larry's if we have enough interest and people coming.

Did you just clean the originals or replace them already? I am feeling like I am screwing up by not pulling what is supposed to be 100K mile plugs!!

Excuse me... Larry was no where around when I screwed up my pinion flange install. I wish I could blame my install on someone other than me but I can't. I mean how long could it take to install the adaptor type??? 10 bolts and it done. And while I have your attention what is your opinion of Stangstock 08 at the MCA event over here??

It will be interesting to see how the FRPP cams stack up to the Comp cams. Their claim of 25 rwhp is about right but they also claim more rw torque. Dave and Brent told me there was no torque to be gained over the stockers with any cam. They said the stockers was as good as the torque was going to get staying N/A.

Even if there were little to no gain, I would switch cams for this sound...
