Wow...I think we finally humbled you alittle. You didn't pick on me one little bit. I am thinking you are showing your age finally and can be beat back into submission at will... But than again. Today is my 54th birthday and I could just be under the influence!!!

Well at least I can claim I made it until 54.. You got to get thru like 4 more years and Tom 22 years. Darrell 2 years...Larry I think 3 years, Ben about 3 years, Cody... 1/2 century Justin and a few other like 30 years. Let's put this is the real world perspective. I'm the oldest...Darrell is next... You and Larry can fight it out for third!!!!!

Well to get back to my problems with the new grill. I looked it over and this is what I found. They use a semi flexible plastic in their injection molding process. Think of your grill without any Honeycomb material. Just the outside and the 2 Foglight cups with no other support. Also if you can remember your Fog lights had 4 support legs to screw into the grill. They all are on different levels. I took the lowest one and then needed to grind down the other 3 to get a good level fit into the cups. The honeycomb material has been replaced with a alumumin mesh and pop riveted in to the frame. Inspection found that their cheap California labor left about 1/4" gap around the cups and the sides that were not riveted. I rebended the mesh to help cover the gaps and I'm 95% happy with the finished product. I did add the tri-bar pony emblem to the driver's side. I will get pictures when I can get the car out of the garage, got 3" of snow last night.

About an inch of snow here too, not too big of a deal compared to previous storms. It was just starting to get messy last night when I was coming home from work.

Scott, you know you could always shovel that snow out of your way!..Oh thats right your 54, I forgot.... Took my Stang out today! The road department here has been using whats supposed to be sand at the intersections but its more like fine gravel... I guess it helps the salt get better penetration to speed up its rusting capability's on the vehicles! Kinda reminds me when I lived in the Washington and Oregon, pumas used on the roads there, has the say affect as a sand blaster!

Tom's is technically correct. He did call dibbs on my 70 Mach 1 a few months ago. But does he have the cash??
My 70 is 2X's your age. I for one am not hoping to croke for a couple of years....but you never know. Since you are trying to sell and buy a new house now...I am thinking your cash drained for another 30 yrs. But we have all been there. I am thinking Karen might have something to say about this dibbs stuff. But in the end I want a real Mustang guy to own her!!!
