I guess the first question is do you have an I-Pod or plan on getting one? I was in a friends car yesterday who has in I-Pod hooked up to his stereo and it was pretty cool. He said he has over 700 songs in it. It might be worth it if you plan on hooking up an I-pod.

Well, I have an MP3 Player, but not an I-pod. But, I did a little more research and there is a line in jack in the center console in 2007 or newer Mustangs. I can use that to connect my MP3 Player to the stereo without having to pay $256 for the Trip Tunes!

I just won't be able to adjust the MP3 player settings through the radio like I could with an I-pod connected to the Trip Tunes. But that's all right, this way is a whole lot cheaper!

Here's link to a pic of the line in jack in the center console.....

Ah ok. I thought that was one in the same. I haven't read much about the '08's yet.

Yeah, I didn't know that the 07 and newer Mustangs had them.

Have you had an easy time at work with all the rain?

Totally up to you, Fal.

Its not big deal to me, 'cause I don't have an .mp3 player nor an i-pod. I just burn my .mp3s to a CD and play them through the Shaker.

Maybe Fal will get his Mustang before the next TMS Laps event?

Hey Ghost where you been?

I burned some more CD-R's yesterday and got a lot more songs on them, so that should take care of the problem for now.

Yes, the rain has been very good to me. Sad to see it go.

I think it's going to rain next week some more.

I ordered one of those Granatelli CAI's for my 08 GT last night. I found one online for $350, and they had them back in stock. So, I thought I would go ahead and order one before they ran out of them.

So now, I have to work OT this weekend to pay for it!

I also got an intake cover and other stuff ready for it when it comes in.

Good deal man. I wouldn't mind if it rained 24/7 for the whole summer. I live at the top of a hill so I'm not worried.

You ought to move to Seattle then Tread!

There was a guy who posted that he say a 08 GT already in the showroom of a Dealer in North Carolina. Sounds like they're coming out already!

Maybe 5 Star Ford will get some in pretty soon for me to look at?

Seems kinda early for the '08's to me but, who knows.

Seattle weather needs to come here so I don't have to move!

Yeah, it does seem early to me for an 08, but he said it had the switch for the ambient lighting option, so it must have been an 08.

Yeah, I'm not thrilled about moving either. Seattle area is very high Dollar these days.......

I'm jealous! Fal's getting his CAI before he even has a GT!!

And here I am...

Like I said...been busy. Work's pounding me, so no goof-off time for Mustang sites there, and at home its the family and new kiddo.

And I'm thinking of adding HID lights to my order too. Seems to be the popular option these days.........

What do you guys think?

Sorry to hear about your time shortage Ghost!

Eh...no worries, its life.

I just got word I'm being awarded $250 from my company for a patent application. Since I put in for 2 patents, I'm hoping to get $500 (less taxes).

Maybe a CAI is in my future...

Yes, you can afford some mods with that! Congrats!

I just work 7 days a week for mine!

But, I'll take some time off once my car comes in........

You don't need a CAI. You drive too fast already!
