New 08 Stang
What's up guys?
I'm thinking about trading in on a new 08 GT in Dark Cherry Red. What do you guys think? Should I do it?
I do like that Cherry Red, I think I would have gone for that instead of legend lime if they had it when it was first available. I think it's a color that would really highlight the Mustang's form.
Or I could wait untill August and see about a 07 GT with the end of the year clearance stuff thrown in. With $4/gallon gas, maybe I can work a sweet deal?

Nah! I had my kids until 7pm so I went late with the other group.
Falchion- I haven't seen the Dark Cherry Red but it sounds like it would be beautiful. You could probably get a good deal on an '07 but, would it be enough to offset the color preference?

Yeah, I'm not sure if the discounts are going to be enough for me to go for an 07 GT over a brand new 08 GT. The X plan discount has gotten smaller then it used to be. Only about 2 grand on a GT, there's another thousand back from Ford right now, but that's only three thousand discount. Not really that great!
I was also thinking about leasing an 08 Infinity G37 sports coupe when they come out in August. I was thinking about driving a Infinity Sedan this afternoon if the rain lets up......

Dang...Lockheed must be treating you right, now! No job to wanting to trade in your '05 for newer and/or getting an Infiniti to boot? Or the Infiniti as a trade-in for the Mustang? 'Course, you get the Infiniti, we'll have to revoke your Mustang License.

Well, I could only afford one car Ghost! I'd trade in my current Mustang for either a 08 GT in the Candy Apple Red, or the Infinity G37 Sports Coupe.
I'd probably lease the Sports Coupe if I opted for that. But, I test drove the G35 Sedan on Saturday, and I'm not sure if the coupe will be the same or not. They won't be out untill August, which is about the same time as the 08 GT's will be out.
I did go by 5 Star Ford and talked to Reid on Saturday, but GT's are still pretty expensive, and I'd rather wait and see the new red that is coming out for the 08 model year.

Yeah, I've driven a GT, but at was over two years ago! I think I'm going to wait untill August and see what the new Candy Apple red looks like, and also the G37 Sports Coupe should be out by then.

Were those pics of Downtown Fort Worth?
