Ok it's at 3000 Alta Mere and the phone# is 817-696-8468. They told me they have done about 30-40 Mustangs so far and it took them about 45 minutes.

OK, thanks for the info Jim!
What do you guys think of these wheels? 17x7.5 at Discount for $130 per. Are they too bling bling?

No, they don't have any American Racing wheels on their web site......
Not sure why not?
Here's some other ones made by AR that fit the 2005 Mustang (V6 anyways)
But I think they're painted, not as nice, but maybe easier to clean.......
They're called Estrella......

They look good by themselves, I just need to see them on the Mustang. Does Discount Tire have them on their interactive rim thingy?

Well, the guy at Discount Tire said that the Estrella Wheels are Machined, and then clear coated, and at only $125 per, and $140 per for the BFG KDWS tires that might be the way to go. I like wide tires!
Are you guys going to stick with the stock tires wheels? A lot of guys are replaceing the stock tires for BFG KDWS's in 255/50/R17's.
Here's a pic of what they look like!

I think I'll wear the rubber off the stock tires before I get new ones. I'm definately thinking about getting that extra size wider when I do need to replace the tires, though. I like that look.

Maybe the guys at Disount will give you a trade in for your stock tires? Then you could have the wider size now instead of later?

I hadn't asked on this lately, but usually they don't do an even trade.
If that's the case, seeing how I paid for the tires with the car, I'd rather get the wear of of them. But if they would trade even, I'd be tempted.

I don't think they'd give you even, but Discount said that BFG KDWS's in 255/50/R17 were only $140 per tire, so it wouldn't be too much money if you traded them in.

I really would like to trade up to 18"s but, I don't think I can afford it right now. They have some really cool Motegi Racing rims on a GT at Texas Motors that have me thinking on it. Supposedly they are available at Discount Tire for $1300 w/tires. Dealership wants $1800 w/trade of wheels&tires on my car. There is also a Blk Gt vert up there if anyone wants to go drool on it. It's only $33,600.

Speaking of Texas Motors. You will never guess who I caught sneaking around eyeballing the Mustangs , BLAKE! SO you gonna order one yet or what? It was great to meet you and your wife. Hope to see ya around again. I knew that crazy looking person lurking around me looked familiar!

Uh-oh...if he's got the wife out there...his powers of persuasion must be getting better. He needs to jump on the band wagon and order so he can get all anxious waiting for it to come in.
(or buy...and have me and Falchion be envious at the two of you )

Ahh...thank the maker. I'm finally C&U!
Been driving myself nuts the past two weeks calling the ERL and getting a "no status" on my car.
Finally spoke to my salesman about getting my hands on the DORA and found out I misunderstood my order number. :bang:

Good for you Ghost!
I finally got through, and my status changed too! I'm locked into production, and scheduled to be built on March 21st!

Sorry no pics. My camera phone was all I had and it wouldn't do them justice. They are at Motegiracing.com, model 2016 or 2013. Those look the same so I'm not sure which one it is. They are on a silver GT if anyone happens to go looking.
