Got a good nights sleep last night. Changing the meds has made a huge difference. Gonna try to get up in the next couple of hours and walk. Seems possible now whereas at 7:00 last night it seemed impossible.

I brought it back home yesterday and off to work this morning. That's the only driving i've had a chance to do. I'm trying to get used button placement and figure out why the A/C seems to be running when I have it off AND the climate control off. There is some sort of humidity sensor in it so maybe that overrides everything. I gotta order a manual or load up the pdf version and find out.

Okay, serious question... If you're not taking the Vicodin for pain, what effect are you looking for from them?

I have been given Vicodin for several things. Most recently when I broke my toes, and last year for my torn meniscus in my knee. It helped the pain for the broken toes, but did nothing for my knee pain. If I took any now, for recreational purposes, it would have no effect on me. What am I missing??

There is a little 300 page mini manual and a DVD in there too but I have no idea what's on it. I suppose I should see whats on it one of these days. There is also a 600 page bigger manual that can be ordered for free.

Vicodin and Loritab both give me energy and at the same time, kills any old pains that I live with every day. Simply put, I feel like my body did when I was a teenager. It's pretty amazing to feel that well nowadays. Haven't taken them in a long time so I usually just feel old now. Lol

On the other hand, Percocet makes me drowsy and feel like crap.

I wish it game me energy! The only one that has ever done that for me is Prednisone. I was on them once and wow, it made me feel great.

Lortab is hydrocodone, Percocet is oxycodone.

A lot more than 70%, and they both are. Lortab/Vicodin will be like 5mg of hydro and 325mg of acetaminophen, same with Percocet. 5/325 or 7.5/500 or 10/650, etc.

That's because Prednisone is a type of steroid.

I had Percocets when I had my tubes tied and I didn't like the way they made me feel either. I think I only took 2 and then I just took Motrin. I've never had any of the other stuff.

No, that's my aunt that doesn't usually use recipes just makes them from memory. .
I didn't get a chance to make them tonight like I wanted to for our trip tomorrow. Some other time soon, I hope. Let me know if you get around to trying it before I do.
