Let's see...I went to work this afternoon. Stopped at the grocery store on the way home to pick up pizzas, but they only had three and I needed four, so I had to drive to another grocery store. Drove home, put pizzas in the oven and waited for my family to get home from my brother's baseball game. Like I said, boring as hell.

See, that's actually pretty entertaining compared to my day. I got up about noonish, had nothing to eat all day, finally woke up enough to spend a few hours in the pool to get some sun, called in an order for some bbq at my buddy's bbq joint about 6pm. Picked it up and ate and have been trying to find something on tv every since.

Btw I keep having gangster dreams. Last night I dreamt I was in LA and was at a Mexican restaurant (ate Mexican for dinner last night after work...hmmm) and someone from a rival gang tried to do a drive by on us, but missed. So we chased them down on foot and shot back. The whole dream was running back and forth shooting, then I got cornered and the dude pulled out some crazy knife and (because I watched Sherlock Holmes last week) I imagined the fight in my head, blocking his left hand and grabbing it, kneeing him in the back of the elbow, dislocating it, then I pulled out my backup sidearm and shot him in the temple. Yeah, I have messed up dreams.

Just heard a report about how cities are using parking ticketing as their own little ATM machine. It said they collect 3 times as much from tickets as they do from meters. And it talked about how they often ignore a citizen's appeal.
