92 is the least its been here for 2 months. Not to mention the humidity.

Finally cooled off a bit this week, only high 80s, but the humidity went way up with the clouds and showers around.

Same here. Cooled down to low 90's, but it's been so humid it's impossible to not sweat if you're outside for more than 10 seconds.

I know what you mean. I walked 3 miles today (mostly in the woods, a little in the sun) in only shorts and by the time I got done my shorts and under wear were completely soaked from the sweat running down my torso.

So are any fellow TMS'ers going to Maple Grove tomorrow for the 15th(?) annual American Muscle Mustang show to watch me win the Raptor and 850 hp Mustang?

Nope. Just too darn hot and humid for that today!

Sorry to hear that Jill. At least he's wearing a helmet...though a jacket and pants would have eliminated the road rash...

Not necessarily. I've been torn all to hell even with a jacket and pants. One of the worst wrecks I've ever had on one I was coated head to toe and ended up ground up like hamburger meat on my leg, torso, arm and back. Broken bones, skin grafts, and really farked up, even with the leathers.

Still don't walk normally and have horrible scars up the side of my torso from my hip to my arm pit on one side, and all the way up my arm from my wrist to my shoulder. I've spent years embarrassed to be seen at the beach with my shirt off because of that, of course the stretch marks from being so fat didn't help either, lol.

Now I really don't care.

I honestly can't believe that they sell hyper bikes to people that have basically no motorcycle experience. Blows my mind. That is the reason I was taken aback when I saw that pic that Jill posted of her boy on that bike.

I grew up around bikes, started riding them at 5 years old. My uncle owned a Harley/Suzuki dealership, my family was saturated in the biker culture. The good and the bad of the Harley lifestyle.

I haven't ridden a street bike in over 15 years and I'll never ride a street bike again because of the way the drivers on the road have gotten. I rode some of the fastest street bikes on the planet, but no more. And any kid of mine that wants to ride a street bike, he/she will have to do it when they're out on their own, they'll never have one while they live in my house.

Its a ****ign death trap and I'll not be a party to it.

I'm the same way about street bikes. I love me some dirt bikes though. Little 125 2stroke is just a blast.

With dirt bikes, it's not the speed that will kill you. It's the drop

I had an 80cc dirt bike when I was like 10 until I out grew it. Loved it, but my parents wouldn't get me a bigger one. Probably a good call lol.

Yup. But you know us parents can't tell you kids a **** thing. His reply was that he was just going for a quick ride to the gym.

My first one was a YZ80 when I was 12. Loved that thing. Then for my 16th birthday, my parents bought me a Honda XL100S. That one was enduro and not as much fun, but I never tagged it for street riding.

My mother broke her leg when she tried to ride my 100. She popped a wheelie and fell off the back. I don't know what she was thinking. She'd never even been on a motorcycle before not to mention that she's a pretty big girl and that bike was not built for someone her size....
