Wasup TMSers?

I'm thinking real hard about going matte black with the cobra. The gloss black is just killing me and really keeps me from enjoying the car. Or maybe just sell the damm thing and start a new project.

Be careful with Matte Black....very few choices are low maintenance...some of them will shine up if you rub on it like getting a dirt spot out.

We could just part it out and put the drivetrain in something old and cool

That's very tempting. I still owe enough to not justify stripping her. For some reason I've been dreaming of a restomod 67 Malibu LS swap. Just a murdered out cruiser.

Something along these lines but gloss blacked out wheels and chrome pieces.

How about a '58 2 door Ranch Wagon with the complete drivetrain including IRS and brakes set down on the ground with some 12" wide dished wheels out back?

As much as I like wagons, I don't think I would own one. Possibly a Galaxy but I really prefer the old Chevy lines. Impalla is too big and nova too small. Love that malibu body.

Ok, how about a '66 Galaxy with the same treatment?

The Malibu looks good but it's like a Camaro...you can't swing a dead cat without hitting one....

Well I did find one thing I like about this time of year. Cherry cordial Hershey's Kisses.

The rest of it can bugger off.

That's why they call it school and not vacation. Take it one semester at a time. I pulled back to three courses a semester when I felt that way, but I had a full-time job as well.

Silver doesn't show dirt like a dark car does.
