As a boss who makes hundreds of decisions everyday in a business that grosses at least $5m a year you'd be surprised at the number of idiot workers who never understand the decisions but it's not their job to reason why, theirs is just to do or bye!

Yeah we have codes. In the city there is enforcement. In the county there is not. But of
course we build to code because to not build to code would be liability suicide.
But as far as inspectors. I don't pay them any mind. They are little worker bees that work for the municipality because they can't make a real living on their own. Their bosses are engineering dropouts that hold no degrees and their bosses are scum bag politicians with self interest or special interests.
We just build to code and they can't touch us. And 99 times out of 100 I'm the one correcting them on what the code is.

Yep. At least some of us enjoyed a few years in the former USA as established by the Founders. Where liberty, decency, true freedom of thought, and real opportunity used to live. Before the collectivists infiltrated and took over with their steady drumbeat of brainwash that created the current dumbed down degenerate masses via hollywood 'entertainment', public schools, and universities.

In 1958, Cleon Skousen authored the book The Naked Communist. In this book he cited 45 declared goals of the Communist party to destroy America from within. Included in these goals were:
- Permit free trade between all nations regardless of Communist affiliation and regardless of whether or not items could be used for war.
- Provide American aid to all nations regardless of Communist domination.
- Grant recognition of Red China. Admission of Red China to the U.N.
- Promote the U.N. as the only hope for mankind. If its charter is rewritten, demand that it be set up as a one-world government with its own independent armed forces.
- Capture one or both of the political parties in the United States.
- Use technical decisions of the courts to weaken basic American institutions by claiming their activities violate civil rights.
- Get control of the schools. Use them as transmission belts for socialism and current Communist propaganda. Soften the curriculum. Get control of teachers’ associations.
- Infiltrate the press. Get control of book-review assignments, editorial writing, and policy-making positions.
- Gain control of key positions in radio, TV, and motion pictures.
- Continue discrediting American culture by degrading all forms of artistic expression.
- Eliminate all laws governing obscenity by calling them “censorship” and a violation of free speech and free press.
- Infiltrate the churches and replace revealed religion with “social” religion. Discredit the Bible and emphasize the need for intellectual maturity, which does not need a “religious crutch.”
- Eliminate prayer or any phase of religious expression in the schools on the ground that it violates the principle of “separation of church and state.”
- Discredit the American Constitution by calling it inadequate, old-fashioned, out of step with modern needs, a hindrance to cooperation between nations on a worldwide basis.
- Discredit the American Founding Fathers. Present them as selfish aristocrats who had no concern for the “common man.”
