I am prolly almost positive that you checked all the fuses but I am gonna ask anyways. Did you check all the fuses and relays?

It's weird that it is charged, the blower works, but it doesn't blow cold air. Obviously the air is not traveling over the evaporator coils. Is there a damper in these systems. Perhaps it is not redirecting. I mean if the compressor works the ref. is moving through the system, right? I don't exactly know how the AC systems work in these cars, but I have a layman's knowledge of AC in general.

Overcharge or a mixture of air in the system, maybe, or both.
I think someone undid a line when putting in the motor and then put it back together without telling anyone. Maybe they charged it, but then there is still air and possibly moisture in the system at that point.
That's my theory anyway.

So, I can only assume that the fuses and/or relays were checked.
That was when my car was still under warranty; not anymore.
Overcharged? Mine is overcharged according to this handheld gauge I bought. I wonder how I can take some of the regrigerant out.
I'm guessing it's not as easy as letting air out of a tire.

You don't have a mom and pop type AC shop around there you can trust.
There's an old man around here that I took my Ranger to many years ago when Ford couldn't find the problem under my ESP warranty. I got sick of taking it in and finally went to him. He found a leaky condensor coil, very common Ford problem at the time even on newer vehicles, and I took that info back to Ford and made them replace it.
Not that you can do that, but someone with an extensive knowledge of AC systems as opposed to a Ford guy getting paid under what was warranty work at the time might finally be able to diagnose the problem.

Umm there should be some Green caps I believe in your A/C lines. Right there you might be able to take some out. Of all the ones I seen they are like inflating a tire. Just press the button in the middle and it goes HHHHHHIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIISSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSS SSSSSSSSSSSS
Just got to make sure not to undercharge it when doing that.
Disclaimer: just because that is the way we drained A/C lines in Iraq when we had to does not say that is the right way. Also it doesnt feel good when your fingers get frozen by the freon coming out of it. Under no circumstance can said person come back and go after the person saying this bullcrap for getting frost bite and depleting the o-zone layer by emmitting such gases into the air. Also said person cannot come for the person saying this for getting caught by local authorities doing such act.
