the first thing I'll probably do is replace the headlights, and the cowl

might have to look into buying HID's, depending on how bring the regular lights are

I just realized that it doesnt have foglights, which sucks

Not sure. I got my notch's headlights from them. The middle lights are made by ford, but the sides are reproduction. Never had any problems.

Mine said they were smoked, but they really weren't. They were clear with black housings instead of chrome. Whatever your get, make sure you seal them very well with silicone. Put it on nice and thick.

I'll get the smoked ones, it'll look alot better

also, LRS says that the ones they have, you dont have to seal, and they have a one year no questions warranty on said non-sealed lights

Hello beaches

David, that car's not too bad at all. Have it inspected by your uncle as you said, to see if there are any hidden "surprises" that dealer's sometimes don't know about, of don't bother to tell you. My brother bought a Nissan 240SX some years back without listening to my dads warinings. He said that the engine made a sound he didn't like. Some time later, the strange sound was a missing chain guide and clogged lubrication system. Too bad I didn't buy it to make a RB or Silvia engine swap on it

Hey David that is a nice car dont get me wrong but me personally would pass on it. I just seen to many cars that they say minor fender benders that are really major accident cars. Just have a mechanic look it over and if you want you can have a body shop also look it over to make sure everything is straight and that it was repaired right and not just thrown together.

Also i really like that hood and think you should keep it.

i'd actually prefer that... then you get all the illumination of the clearer lens with the darker look of smoked...

I'm diggin these:
http://www.latemodelrestoration.com/item/LLY-3295320

I like the hood the more I see it!

I really am very weary about the damage, that's the only thing that held me back from putting a deposit on it right then. I'm going to be very harsh looking to make sure it's not just hacked back together, hopefully it wasnt but maybe like a 5 mph hit or something small like that. The airbags havent been out, so that's a good sign.

Anyone know why the AM fog lights use an 893 bulb instead of an 899?
