Funny, growing up (60's) our family friends had a TV repair shop back in the all tube days. Me and Jerry would make monsters and stuff out of all the parts and frames. His basement had this smell to it... kind of a hot electronics smell from all the power tubes glowing and cathode screens.
A few years back I was trying out some vintage tube amps to add to my collection from a local shop and the owner let me take a couple home to try out to compare with what I already have. One was from late 50's early 60's. After having 4 or 5 amps fired up for a few hours, my studio had that good 'ol hot electronics smell like Jerry's basement. LOL You kids with all your chip & flash memory stuff are missing out!

man, i feel hella sick, I've been praying to the porcelin gods on a regular basis since 3am, it sucks. I dont even have the energy to get dressed and go to the store for some supplies, thank god for good friends that live around the corner.
and to top it off, I have a scholarship application due tomorrow and a midterm to study for, and I'm near about to fall asleep as I type this.
