Well, on my front all is well, sort of. As you know my heat pump went last week, luckily the weather is nice this time of year, and installation is set for next week. I guess I got a good price with all the incentives, rebates and tax credits for next year and I should see savings on my electric bill as well. Anyone got experience on A/C units? I thought as long as they were there I'd have them do the downstairs system as well (I have a 2 zone setup). I replaced the furnace and aircoil about 3 years ago when I did the addition. The guy tells me I have to replace the coil(again) and it will be almost $4800! my new one for upstairs in comparison is $6600.. I smell profit margin, am I overreacting? is that a decent price or what? I felt like
just grease me up dude!

I always park at the very end of the parking lots.I've never had it, but we were watching Diners, Drive-Ins and Dives one night and my husband was drooling over some that he saw at a place somewhere near you (maybe not near you, but in your state anyway). I think it was called Earls.

I've seen quite a few that do in the south. Its generally the little mom and pop diners that focus on breakfast and lunch for people that are working in the area, especially construction crews, landscapers, etc. that need a place to go get a good meal cheap. Meatloaf will usually be on the lunch menu, they generally have a "meat and three" special. For example they will have meatloaf, fried chicken, pork chops, then have 6 or 8 vegetables like fried okra, mashed potatoes, corn on the cob, pinto beans, etc. You choose 1 meat and 3 vegetables, and rolls or cornbread and sweet tea for like 6 bucks.

I love that show. Even if I have already stuffed myself at supper, I'm still hungry by the time it goes off. Those are the kind of places I look for when I'm traveling. I've had some great food at little hole in the wall joints.

black 6.2 at the local dealer...
verdict, dont like the black...there's so much flake in the paint it almost looks dirty, even when clean, and it could never be a really deep dark glossy black.
I still wanna see a blue one, but I think they should all be made in orange

I watch it all the time and one night the showed a place in NC called the penguin. They have a burger called the full blown hemi that looks like it's about 20,000 calories, 3 1lb pattys with loads of cheese and onions. I must try it, I can already feel my veins clogging

I don't know of a place called Earls, but there is a Carls Diner near me. I know they are big on breakfast but not sure about other meals. They get mixed reviews so you either love it or hate it. It's a cheap greasy artery clogging place that when you order 2 eggs and bacon, you get 3 eggs, 10 strips of bacon, hash browns, beans, and whatever! They overload you with food that you can't finish. I've never been, but someday...

Ya, I was thinking the same thing. The way the guy was driving it though, I'm really not sure he cared.
Why do I have to live here? I'd probably be 500lbs if I lived in the south. 
I feel sorry for who's ever driving behind it.
