Thanks. Looks like the F14 would be a good option. Any idea on weight on those in an 18 x 10/11?

Around 20. Also check out the CF05( or something like that). It uses the same forging process and they are also approximately the same weight. If you are thinking about ordering a set talk to me first.

I dunno but the CCW Classics "race" version go for $2300/set (not too far off your target) and are available in any width up to 16" in 18" diameter.

Might be worth looking into, if you like the style. They look great with a blacked out center.

Another good option. Have you decided on a track wheel yet?

CCWs are great wheels... but they aren't particularly light. Strong as hell and rebuild-able, but > 21 lbs. I've got a set of 17x9 classic race wheels sitting in my tire rack right now from my M3.

Right on. That's why I kept my Enkeis. I just want to get a second set. I'll run the 302S wheels with the Hoosiers up at BIR, but I'm skeptical since they're so heavy. I think I'm going to make them my street wheels once the brand new R6s go up in smoke.....i.e. in a couple weeks

Don- Just remember the SST lines are not "forever" parts and need replacement on some sort of schedule, albeit probably a long one. Also- if you ever accidentally drop the caliper and it bounces on the tension of the line you have to replace it. Per Mark at Ford Racing.

John at CCW tells me the Classics won't work. He does recommend the C series wheels, C10, C14, etc. We have been trying for the past several weeks to find a combination that has the correct offset. I have a SP16a 18 x 11 test wheel he sent me for fitment. Gorgeous wheel, but sadly only the 19 x 11 in that series will work. 2 inch vs 3 inch lip.

Forgeline, Kenesis, and HRE are nice, expensive, but nice.

Yes, they did the front side of the mirrors not the top. I thought about doing a small strip along the front edge of the roof but decided against it when I checked out my wife's four year old car and there were no knicks in the paint on the front edge of her roof.

I also had clear bra installed the full front clip (including headlights and mirrors). I saw a different car with just the "bra" installed and I didn't like that you can see the edge, so I had full panels done. The installer also wrapped as many edges he could around the panel so that the edge of the film is on the backside of the panel. I'm really happy with it because it's really hard to tell that there's a film on the car...
