Well wake up. That's exciting to hear the 5.0's are making that kind of power. Aren't the bosses about 380rwhp max. Horsepower is like a drug. You guys should get some.

Al I think you are missing the point as to why most of us bought the Boss. It's about balance and overall performance, not about how fast it goes from stoplight to stoplight. I have a GT500 with 640 rwhp that's 2.5 seconds slower on the track than the Boss even with 60% more horsepower.

 

I know. But balance won't do anything for you on the street. Should have just got a real race car if it's only good as a track car. Just drive the Shelby everywhere else.

Getting back on track from the hijack (j/k)....I picked up a Pasport 9500ix and ordered a Blendmount to install with my HomeLink mirror...Hopefully I'll get it all installed next week. Along with the stack of parts in the garage..(MM CC plates, new brakes pads, DOT 4 fluid, Track tires/Wheels.

 

Did you install your mirror, if so was it straight forward/easy install?

 

Don, do you currently own all of the cars in your signature? A good friend of mine has a 69 R Code SCJ 428 Mach1 but I'm not sure about the drag pak. What was included with the drag pak? The $357 MSRP CJ option was one heck of an investment!
