Yes I did.

The Sales Manager on the passenger side explaining to me how SYNC works. After a couple of minutes of trying to figure out why it wasn't working I told him it didn't have SYNC.

Wow... the Kona Blue and White is a great looking color combo, too! Congrats.

And what's with sales people almost always knowing practically nothing about cars?

With most dealers getting at most ONE Boss, it's not surprising the sales staff isn't trained on them. What's the point? They make their living selling F-150s, Taurus, Fusion and Focus. I'll bet the good ones are much more informed than most of us on those vehicles and I own many of them. I know exponentially more about the Boss than I do the rest of my entire fleet because to me the Boss is special. To the average salesperson, the Boss is irrelevant.

I totally agree with this. The dealer where I purchased my car only had ONE allocation for MY 2012 and it's sitting in my garage. The sales manager was impressed I knew so much about the car and was a very easy guy to work with. I'd give them an A- for the transaction and only because they didn't include one of the signed PJ photos serialized as part of the transaction.

Lyle Herb (Performance Car Sales) at Brandon Ford was VERY knowledgeable about the Boss 302. They have sold at least 4 to 5 Boss 302 / LS cars that I know of to date and still have (2) more coming. Of course... Lyle IS a Mustang OWNER as well and veryu much into the cars....

Good to know! I have found that Brandon Gord actually has some Mustang enthusiasts working there over the years. I remember going to test drive an '03 Cobra when they first came out and as we were standing out front, the current 'Performance Car Sales' guy did a powersliding u-turn within sight of the dealership in a Roush 360R.

If *my* boss approves of the idea, I'd love to look into a Grabber Green '13 BOSS, so I'll probably send Lyle an email when the time comes. I sent general email to Brandon Ford about ordering a BOSS when the '12s were announced and never heard back, so Lyle should be a good contact.
