Perhaps it's the Camaro that's doing better in sales right now, but at one point I thought the Challenger was also doing better as well..
On the other hand, your right on the money, as I've also been hearing rumors about an SRT Barracuda replacing the current Challenger in either 2015 or 16..
As for the current Mustang goes, I personally don't feel they went modern retro enough and if they had went closer towards a 67-68 design ? It may have done much better in sales..
In the meantime I also wouldn't mind if Ford leaned towards an Aston-Martin design for the next Mustang either and if I'm not mistaken, wasn't the design for the Aston-Martin DB-9 Ford's design anyhow ? I believe this was during the time before Ford sold off Aston-Martin

Challenger sells half of what the Camaro and Mustang do. The Camaro sold really well for a couple years. Now it has leveled off. Camaro and mustang sales are neck and neck now.

That's really good to know that Mustang and Camaro sales are now neck to neck

Please someone reassure me this is not the direction they are going with the interior. All they need to do is get up out of their chairs, travel to the nearest Audi dealership and peek inside say uhh an A5...... I just drove a new Focus and the interior was awful...mismatched shapes and materials. We can only hope

You can't expect both to have the same build quality.

build quality and interior material choice are two very different things...
That being said, based on the level of interior improvements we've been getting in the last few years, I can't imagine Ford will disappoint on the new one

I predict that the 2015 Mustang's interior quality will be along the lines of the current Fusion.

Good to see some new photos, even if it doesn't appear to show us much more than we already know...............although that track does appear to be wider than the previous show of the (same?) car
Same car, shot last year, different wheels though....?? (just spotted the differing faux gas caps.......so maybe not the same car)

Edit: I do see that different gas cap. Interesting. Same color, same cuts made to the bumper cover.

I also see the 5.0 badge and GT on the "newer" shot. It isn't present on the "older" one along with the regular Mustang faux gas cap. I'm thinking 2 different vehicles.

Wonder what's on the rack in the back of that pick?
