I would think that this is a close mock up made from a Fusion facia. I would like to think it will change for the better and be more unique to the Mustang.
I that is wrong then I would buy a low milage 2011 or 2012 or even a low mile SN95.

Its very subtle, look above the headlights.. Its too easy! Its so Fusionesque, they have to have come up with something more Mustang and still have the flare..... I mean really, some on TMS have designed better Prototypes. If that is the car I'm ok with it but lets see the rest of it and see how easy they got off by cut and pasting....

Fusion front end is fine for a Fusion. Not a mustang. A mustang should have a new look all to its own. When you drive down the road everybody should know, THATS A MUSTANG. The new 15 mustang from the front is , look mom its a Ford Fiesta , no its a Fusion, no its a Taurus, No its actually the new mustang. Aw geez mom why did Ford have to make such a lame a$$ looking muscle car that looks no different than Sally Smith Ford Fiesta down the street. Wow, that's really gay. That's the best design the Ford design team could come up with? Good job on being original and making the iconic mustang stand out from all the other Ford models.

my $.02........... I think Ford has not finalized their production line molds and is using this mold to get feedback on whether they want to go with a different design or stick with that one. Me personally, I've been trying to sell my 11' to get ready for the 15' but at this spyshot, I think I will take my car off ebay and go wax my car in the garage now I recall speaking with someone that saw a mustang design a little over a year ago and he said the feedback was that it didn't change enough! So his description he gave me, seems really close to this but he also said that they were going back to the drawing board because it wasn't future forward enough. So I'm thinking Ford is just getting feedback from us and it will not be part of the family. I totally feel it should be no question when you see a mustang that it is not another member in the ford family. ok so that was long.......maybe it was my $.25

The so what is that the mustang is not a Fusion. The Fusion is a fusion. How sad it must be that designers can't come up with an original stand out design for the longest selling pony car .Its a joke that all the cars look alike. Driving down the road one should easily immediately identify the front and rear to the vehicle as being a Mustang. Nothing out there even comes close to the awesomeness of it and based on that front fascia picture it looks like a Fusion, Taurus , Fiesta , Focus, etc.

Reality is, its all good to me regardless of what Ford does with the next generation mustang. I have my 2011 retro pony and love how it looks and rides. I have no intention of selling my retro model any time soon for the new generation stang regardless of how great or fast it might be. 10 years from now when I give my son the 2011 , I'll take a look at what Ford is offering in the 2024 model mustang , assuming I still want a mustang at the old age of 49. Lol

As long as they hold to the Mustang look, and I mean 1965-1973 the true Mustang look, shark/wide front, fastback profile, triple bar taillights etc. those are just few things ford really,REALLY need to incorporate to the future of the mustang brand, go all Porsche with those things, and you can make a new car each time but it will always look like a mustang that way for generations, regardless if some people like it or not at that given time.
The moment they pull another Fox mustang ( I mean a car that does not look like the originals at all) will be the moment I stop respecting the car as a mustang, to this day ,and I'm not alone in this, many people don't recognize the fox/edge Mustangs as a "true" mustang, in my eyes unless it doesn't look anything to the originals 1964-1973, then its just another entity with a known brand sticker on top. No disrespect, but thats how I feel about it.
