that sounds like a great day. a tiny bit of cush does make a difference. i really like it in my 05. if i had to give up my armrest cover i wouldnt even want the car. give it some time too. the new materials are stiff, time will let the part settle nice and become one with the lid......sounds like a grasshopper thing
Thank you for the wisdom of the lid, sensei!

I'd be happy to see pics of this newest combination, thanks! But, honestly, a Saddle color would look simply awesome IMO. Nestled right between two Saddle leather premium seats. A boy can dream...

Without a doubt that combo would look UN REAL, but at this point it doesn't look like saddle is gonna happen and you really need one of these things lol they are to nice. I'd try maybe for like a tan stitching and blend it that way

From a Uk customer !
I have been looking at arm rest covers for the 2010+ Mustangs for a while.
You know sometimes you see something you want, the object of your desire meets your needs, it’s the right price and the supplier looks like it will deliver and meet your expectations. But the doubt is always there that you will be disappointed either by the quality of the piece or the service of the supplier. This doubt is bourne of previous let downs and failure to deliver against your expectations.
However sometimes you are simply staggered by the excellence of the whole purchasing experience and this is the case with my recent procurement of a simple cover for the arm rest on my 2011 GT. The company I am enthusing about is Mustang Rocks. (I have no affiliation).
While the 2010+ interiors are a world of difference from the 2005+ they still lack the quality of our European rivals – particularly in the extensive use of hard plastics. The arm rest on the 2010+ is a case in point. Why Ford Oh why was it not a softer material? It’s where your elbow sits and this car is supposed to be a GT FFS.

Before going on leave I hit the button and ordered through the US website. As my UK address was not acceptable I was asked to contact by email. I did so and received a reply with 24Hrs (first plus point).
Mike T replied with a quote for postage to the UK. I paid by paypal. We agreed the customs price to be declared. Mike T advised me when the material was ordered, cut, assembled and dispatched. He advised me when payment was received and when he cancelled the original web site paypal order. (second plus point).Brilliant.
The cover arrived within 10 days of him despatching from the US. (3rd Plus point) Brilliant.
The web site has clear installation instructions. Installation was a doddle with a perfect fit. The pebbled leather and white stitching matches my car perfectly.
Quality of the cover is first class (fourth plus point).
( angled shot as rest of interior is away being hydro dipped).
A simple mod, good price and great customer service. (fifth plus point and five stars!).
Highly recommended mod for 2010+ owners.
Neil.

thanks neil. you can put a little heat to that leather to help it relax faster.
on the new perforated alcantara, heres the charcoal alcantara and leather on a cover. i guess roush has used this on some custom seat inserts, so now we can match that up. we dont have it in black yet, but its on the list.
EDIT: This is the black perforated alcantara, we dont have it in charcoal yet

i think something like that would have to be done at a auto interior shop with panel grade materials. not having a new car on hand is a huge drawback for looking into other parts of the car, but we`ll leave that to the shops.

on this part there are a few options to choose from the dropdowns.
1) choose your leather options
2) choose your stitch color
3) if you want to mix the leather grains, check the box and you get a dropdown with a few choices for the leather grains
4) make sure the quantity is "1" and proceed to checkout
the 3 factory leather grains are very different from one another. theres a pic of the grains on this page. just scroll down to the 10+ samples.

if your still unsure of the grain, or if you want the perforated thats not on the site yet, you can ask questions or also request a sample(s), and you can contact me on here with a pm or on the contact us on the store page. if you want to talk on the phone, shoot me your number and the best time to call. thanks, mike

Sorry havent been watching the threads or posting much, still involved in my relocation to Mich., thats been a bit of a challenge, but we have been making and shipping out parts through the move. Hey RubyRed, i used to live in Canton for a while years back. Thanks, your cover is in the works
Ive had the cover in my 05 for many years now, I like it more each year. The covers will last probably as long as you have the car and as long as the next person has it too,(if you give it to them) and then some.
