Padded Leather Console Armrest Covers

Hey Ruby Red, thanks, that looks pretty awesome
Mine did that too. I made sure the leather was nice and tight around button opening and over time it settled in and the button doesn't stick anymore.
You can apply some glue to that groove then wrap the leather around that frt edge, and use your finger to rub the leather into that groove good. Make sure those inside corners are wrapped tight too and not bunched up in the corners. Then re assemble the bottom plate and latch.
If its the sides of the lid binding, that too should break in also, but the leather needs to be as smooth as possible on the sides of the lid. That could also be glued but really it shouldnt need it. The med. pebble is pretty tuff and is going to take a little longer to break in.
Figured this is the best place to ask.
What material does ford use on the 2013 Mustangs, is it real leather, pleather, vinyl, or coated? Just looking for some info to know when I am caring for it.
Also is the material on my arm rest the same, or only visually the same

We use the OEM matching leather on the armrests. Any good leather conditioner will work well, I use Maguires Pro in my car on the leather, it smells good too, but I`m sure there are better ones out there. I use Maguires vinyl cleaner and conditioner on the rear seat and the rest of the vinyl and plastic interior, under hood plastics, and my tires too.
Heres what that 3 panel leather Shelby boot looked like. It has a very small plastic cup in the top for a upgraded shifter. We replaced the leather with Alcantara

So the perforated leather, and the bolsters on the area you sit are real leather? I am using leatherique and its only for "real animal" leather. Wanted to make sure I will get results.. Now I know not to bother on the backs of the seats... I really didn't notice a difference in the material front to back on these cars
Just installed today
Leather quality is very good.
Initial fit is pretty good

Thats probably some good stuff. The sun is one of the worst killers of leather. Keeping it treated helps protect it from the uv rays and drying out and cracking. My leather seat covers are from 06 that I installed in 07 that now have around 70,000 miles on them, but only the driv seat has had daily use. Still look good. They have the vinlys down so good you cant hardly tell even touching the stuff. Looking closely, the leather will have flaws, the vinyl is perfect grains. About the only way to tell is to see the backing on the materials. The vinyl has a cloth backing.
You want to protect the vinyl as much as the leather so dont over look that. Sun will kill it too. Youve probably seen old vinyl seats all cracked and spit open.
