Really? I didn't know that. If the electric steering is the same unit, I wonder if it would work, then?

It was teased in a photo, but didn't debut until the 12MY. Same with the visors with integrated lighting.

So just got done with 70 pages and I want to be sure, so if someone can list what I need it would be super cool. I have a base 14gt auto. Only options are rear back up sensors and sync. Want to do a 13-14 boss cluster. Other question is since I already have a 14 car. I just turn on the track app??

Track Key introduces the concept known as the dual-path powertrain control module. The industry-first, patent-pending innovation allows two separate sets of engine management software to exist on a single PCM, selected through the existing SecuriLock Passive Anti-Theft System (PATS) transceiver found in current production keys.
LOL.....Does not apply to our car because we are tuned, BUT......wonder if one could flash their PCM to a late '14 and make this an option on a older model?
Zero, what all is involved with this.

One thought about the 2013 GT500 adjustable suspension:
Tousley sells all shocks/struts new for $1160 or so. If I think back, my Koni FSD set was $950, so actually not too bad...
Makes me wanna have that one...

There is a module needed for this plus all wiring.

And the Pcm is also involved. This is worse than the cluster by far. I fear that you will not be able to get it to work as the cluster, SJB and PCM (and who knows what else) needs to be flashed as a 2013 Shelby but still be able to manage a stock 5.0.

Well, i don't have a 5.0 ... So maybe i do that, once i decided what to do with the engine...
Maybe a 5.4/5.8 swap?
I am going crazy with that car ...

You can go with the aftermarket Damptronic kit and control them without integration to the PCM.

Yeah, I would probably go the aftermarket damptropic route... But I guess that's something for later this year...

Went to Atlanta Auto show last night. I didn't realize the 2013 Cluster is different than the 2014 cluster. 2014 seems to have different font and different layout. 2014 looks better.

Yep, the '14 Font is different, and the overall layout looks MUCH better!
i.e. with the Halo Off, you still have a Colored Circle sorounding the whole gauge, and with the Halo on, with the '13 Gauges the MPH and RPM "Bullets" that go up into the Halo are just Black!!...With the '14's the "Bullets" are the Same color as the Gauge Font Chosen through "Mycolor", so when you light up the Halo, you now have the Halo broken up by the Font Color.....Looks Much Cleaner!...You can see a small Pic. of it in the 2014-MY Brochure.....Halo OFF, pgs. 15-16, Halo ON, pg 25 Bottom left...

Yep. Im torn between the 14 GT premium ones or the boss ones. I really want the my color and have been putting off buying the GT ones hoping someone here will crack the BOSS gauges and get the my color working.

What about putting the GT premium as built data into the boss cluster? Wont that keep the track apps open and add the my color options?

Humm, It should work actually. Who wants to experiment here? Would require going to 14 Calibration/Firmware.

No, the Boss cluster actually has a different build of Firmware. However, I think it can be enabled ...Need a little more time.

Matt ... I believe the firmware and part number of the PCM is the same for 2013 and 2014. Not sure what is different .... I am running DR3A-ACD ...

I know the 2013/2014 PCM Hardware is different on the Manual shift cars ... but it wasn't in 2012 and the Boss supported the track key in 2012.

NOPE, that's the way I'm running right now....2014 GT premium with a 2013 boss cluster with my as built installed...You are stuck with ice blue but I am enjoying a fully functioning boss cluster in the GT thanks to VCM...It's pretty cool

I am getting sick of the colors flickering in the boss cluster....Teasing me everytime I open the door lol....I think the car wants me to have my color back, it's just confused lol

So Dan, are you saying that if I order a '14 "Unique Features LCD" gauge cluster for my late build '13 Premium 6 Man. Ford will have problems getting that '14 cluster to communicate with my '13 PCM?.....

I was under the impression that the New GT's "Dual Path Tuning" capability was all due to the Hardware and Software located in the New Gauge Cluster's for the Late Build '14 GT's (Build date after 7-1-13) ......Or are you just referring to GT vs BOSS PCM's?....

Or am I further in the Weeds about this than I thought?!

Sean.

Sean are you just looking to put an 14' LCD GT cluster in your 13'?

If so, it's not a problem at all...Not sure I understand your post of "unique features LCD"

Yep! Thats all I want to do.....Got the Vin# from a '14 (That was built just last week) with the EXACT same options as my '13, and I used this Vin# to order the Cluster from Tousely Ford, so it will be the latest Instrument Cluster W/ Unique Features (LCD) as all of these Clusters Must have a build date of No Earlier than 4-28-13.....

I just want to know if you guys think that this '14 Cluster will be able to "Handshake" with my Late build '13 PCM....With the electronics expert that my Ford Dealer has, to do the work of course....Oh, and "Unique Features" is how Ford differentiates the 4 Gauge Clusters, from the LCD Track-Apps Clusters, thats all....

Sean.

Do you have a pic of the "four gauge cluster" you're talking about?
